TW cursing

Thurs Nov 5

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Virgil groaned. He did not miss that sound. He rolled out of bed and turned off the alarm. He looked around for something to wear. He got dressed and headed to the bathroom. Janus was brushing his teeth when Virgil walked in.

"I think I need to redye my hair," Virgil heard Remus say. "It's starting to fade."

"You dyed it gray! How is it fading?!" Janus asked.

"Just look at it!"

Virgil joined them to wash his hands and do his make-up.

"It looks fine!" Janus said.

"Oh! What do you know? Virgil, do you think I should redye my hair?"

Virgil turned to look at Remus.

"Yeah," he said.

"What?!" Janus exclaimed.

"Ha! I told you!" Remus said.

"Your hair looks fine, dumbass!"

"Language!" They heard Patton yell from the other room.

"Sorry, Dad!" Janus yelled back.

Logan entered the bathroom and grabbed his toothbrush.

"Good morning," he said.

"Logan, do you think Remus needs to redye his hair?" Janus asked.

"I honestly don't care," Logan said as he applied toothpaste to his brush.

Virgil grabbed the sink as he started laughing.

"Wow, you give absolutely zero fucks!" Virgil laughed.

"Virgil!" Patton scolded from the doorway.

"Ah! Shit! I mean- dang it! I'm sorry!"

Janus and Remus started laughing.

"P-Patton! Do you think-"

"Give it a rest!"

Virgil finished up his eyeshadow and walked out of the bathroom. A few minutes later, Logan joined him and grabbed his bag.

"Are you ready?" he asked.

"I just have to find my shoe!" Virgil said.

Logan helped him search. Once they found it, Virgil put on his shoe and they walked to class.

"You guys don't have to carry my stuff to and from classes all the time, you know? I don't mind doing it myself."

"You don't need the excessive weight of your bag creating any sort of imbalance."

"What?"

"Your bag is heavy and we don't want you falling over."

"Oh, I'll be okay!"

"Patton also worries enough about everyone, the last thing we need is the risk of you injuring yourself further."

Virgil rolled his eyes but didn't argue any further. Logan was right, Patton worried about everyone, and he didn't want to cause him to worry any more than he already did.

After his classes, he joined the others in the dining hall for lunch. Patton was usually the first one to show up, but he hadn't arrived yet.

"Where's Patton?" Virgil asked.
