TW cursing, arguing

Thurs March 25

Virgil yawned as he flipped through his textbook. He hated being awake. He wished he didn't have to wake up so early. He knew he could probably go back to sleep but then he wouldn't get anything done today and his sleep schedule would be completely thrown. No, he'd just have to sit and suffer until bedtime.

He doodled for a bit in the margins of his notes before turning back to his homework. He could feel the others slowly fill in around him as he read. It was taking much longer to get this reading done than usual. He really just didn't want to do it today. He groaned before throwing his head on the table.

"Everything okay, Kiddo?" Patton asked.

"I'm done," Virgil muttered. "I don't want to do it anymore."

"Now might be a good time for us to go to dinner," Patton said. "Maybe we should take a break."

Virgil turned his head to look at Patton.

"Now?"

He nodded.

"Yeah! What do you guys think?"

"I could eat," Thomas said.

"I'm always willing to eat," Remus said.

"We know this about you," Janus said as he stood up and stretched.

"So, let's get dinner then," Patton said patting Virgil on the back.

Virgil sighed before standing up. They walked to the dining hall, swiping their cards at the entrance, and found a seat. They went up to get plates in small groups before finally settling and eating. They were quiet for the most part until Remus started mashing his food together. Janus stared at him for a bit.

"Would you fucking stop?" Janus asked.

"What?" Remus said through a mouthful of food.

"That's so gross! Just eat it!"

"These mashed potatoes are too plain by themselves. The chicken gives it flavor!"

"It's just chicken. How does it give the potatoes flavor?"

"The chicken has some seasoning on it! See?"

"No, I don't want to look," Janus turned his head away. "Roman, how do you control your brother?"

"You ask like he can actually be controlled," Virgil muttered.

"You think I know how to control him? Our mother can barely keep a hold on him!" Roman said.

"How did you live with this?!" Janus asked.

"He didn't have a choice," Remus smirked.

"Patton!" Janus whined.

"What do you expect me to do about this?" Patton asked.

"Will you switch seats with me?"

"Sure," Patton sighed before standing up.

"Thank you!"

The two of them switched seats. Logan looked between the two of them.

"What if I actually wanted to sit next to Patton for dinner tonight?" Logan asked.

"Well, that's not really my problem," Janus said taking a bite of his food.

"You can still talk to me, Lo-Lo!" Patton said.

Logan stared at him for a second before turning back to Janus.

"I changed my mind," Logan said.
