TW mention of suicide

Mon Jan 18

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

"Nooooo!" Virgil groaned.

"Virgil, you're going to have to get used to this," Logan said.

"Noooooo!" Virgil groaned louder.

"Virgil! We have class!"

"Noooooo!" Virgil yelled.

Logan sighed and continued to get ready leaving the alarm blaring. He left the room and Virgil glared at the alarm wishing he could glare it to death so it'd shut up. Sadly, he didn't gain magic powers in his sleep and he had to actually get out of bed to turn it off. He stretched and got changed before walking into the bathroom to do his makeup.

"Decided to join us?" Logan asked.

Virgil glared at him before turning to the mirror.

"Good morning!" Patton said as he entered the bathroom.

"Mornings are gross," Virgil muttered as he applied foundation.

"If you hadn't spent that week waking up late maybe you'd be more used to waking up early," Janus said.

"Janus! We were on break! I'm allowed to sleep in!" Virgil said. "You kept waking me up!"

"Break. Fast. Was. Ready!" Janus said slowly. "Besides I'm sure Logan will tell you it's better to be on a more routine sleep schedule. It's not my fault you didn't go to bed earlier."

"Stop it!" Patton said. "Just finish getting ready and let's go to class! I'm tired of hearing this argument!"

"Yeah, okay, Dad."

"Whatever. Fine, Dad."

Logan sighed. They finished getting ready and Virgil met Roman in the hall.

"I'm not carrying your stuff to class anymore," Roman said as they started walking.

"I was carrying my own stuff for a bit," Virgil protested.

"Yeah, so you could hide from us and pretend like you were eating lunch."

"How did you-"

"It wasn't that hard to figure out."

"If you could figure it out, then I guess not."

"Hey! I can be pretty smart!"

"Right!" Virgil snickered.

"Well," Roman scoffed, "I guess you don't need my help in Spanish anymore!"

"Aw, you know you love me too much to let me fail."

"I think you can do it by yourself! Besides, my face is just a distraction. It's too beautiful!"

"It's distracting alright," Virgil muttered. "But not in the way you think."

"That's it!"

Roman went to grab Virgil, but he ducked laughing. Roman chased Virgil through the hall only stopping when they reached the classroom. Virgil stuck his tongue out as he entered the room. Roman grinned mischievously.

"You think you're safe here?" he asked breathlessly.

Virgil set his bag down at a desk.

"We're in class. What are you going to do?" Virgil taunted.
