Sun Nov 1

Everyone was sitting in the student center together. Roman was helping Virgil catch up on all of his Spanish, Thomas and Joan were practicing a scene together for drama, Janus and Patton were trying to reign in Remus, and Logan was getting a head start on his reading for his literature course. It felt like any other Sunday, except they weren't stressed about classes the next day. It was actually quite peaceful until Hannah walked up to them.

"Hey," she said hesitantly.

Everyone froze when she walked up to Logan. He glanced at everyone before turning to her.

"Um... did you need something?" Logan asked.

"I wanted to apologize about the other night. I let my emotions get the better of me. I just hope you can forgive me."

"Apology accepted," Logan said as he turned back to his book.

"Actually," she said, "while I'm here, I was wondering if you might want to grab lunch later?"

"I'm afraid I already have plans," Logan said without looking up from his book.

"It doesn't have to be today," she said.

"Are you referring to a casual lunch or a date?" Logan asked finally looking up from his book again. "Because if it is the latter I will have to decline."

Patton smiled and blushed a little at Logan's statement. Hannah seemed to notice Patton's actions.

"Wait, you're dating him?" she said pointing to Patton. "Were you just leading me on then?"

"I'm not sure what you're referring to? We merely worked on our midterm project together. I'm sorry if you assumed there was something else, but I have no interest in pursuing a relationship with you."

She flashed Patton a dirty look before plastering an innocent smile.

"I understand. I just hope we can still be friends!" she said before walking away.

"Not likely," Logan muttered under his breath as he turned back to his book.

Virgil looked at Patton, who looked a little uncomfortable.

"Did you see the way she looked at him?" Roman whispered.

Virgil nodded.

"Poor guy. I don't think he's used to people not liking him."

"I just hope she doesn't try anything," Virgil muttered.

"Do you think she will?"

Virgil shrugged.

"You never know."

"I would hope not," Logan muttered causing both of them to jump.

"I thought you were ignoring us," Roman hissed.

"I was distracted."

"Well, what do you think about all of this?" Virgil asked.

"I think she's crazy."

Virgil laughed dryly.

"That doesn't mean she isn't a problem."

"Or you're just being paranoid!"

"As much as I hate to say it, she did seem pretty angry about Patton," Roman interjected.

"How often have you dealt with petty people, Pocket Protector?" Virgil asked.

"I tend to ignore most people."

"That explains a few things," Roman muttered.

"What is that supposed to mean?"
