TW cursing, Remus
Mon Nov 16
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!
Beep.
"Shut that thing up!" Virgil groaned as he rolled over.
A pillow flew across the room and hit him on his back.
"You can turn it off," Logan grumbled as he slid out of bed.
Virgil sat up as Logan got dressed. Virgil watched him leave the room.
"No! Don't leave me!" Virgil said as Logan closed the door.
Virgil groaned as he rolled out of bed and turned off the alarm. Why did it have to be Monday? Why couldn't it be a different day? Couldn't it just be Saturday again? He'd rather go to work than class. At least at work, he was paid to show up.
He got changed and went to the bathroom where Logan and a few others were brushing their teeth.
"Ah! So you've decided to join us," Logan said.
Virgil glared at him in response as he moved to use the facilities.
"Remus, what are you doing?" he heard Janus ask.
Virgil turned around to see Remus sniffing his deodorant.
"Do you think it tastes as good as it smells?" Remus asked.
"No! It's deodorant!" Logan said.
Remus licked his deodorant causing everyone else to freak out.
"Remus!" Logan said as Janus laughed.
Virgil gagged as he washed his hands.
"Honestly, it's not that bad!" Remus said proudly.
"Oh my gosh!" Logan said exasperated.
"What happened?" Roman asked as he walked into the room.
"Your brother is eating deodorant!" Virgil said.
"I only licked it!"
Roman shrugged.
"He's done worse," Roman said as he walked past them.
Janus walked away from the sinks continuing to laugh as Remus applied his deodorant.
"I... I can't believe... you fucking licked it!" Janus said out of breath.
"I just wanted to try it!" Remus said.
"He got his tongue stuck to a pole once," Roman said as he joined the others to wash his hands.
"Hey! You used to eat playdough!"
"Yeah, when I was like three! You once chewed gum you found under a desk!"
"I still can't believe it had flavor left!"
"That's disgusting!" Logan said.
"I got Roman to drink out of the toilet once on a dare!" Remus said.
"Only because I didn't want to drink whatever weird concoction you had blended together earlier that day!"
"You watched me make it!"
"Yeah! And you put a worm in it!"
"It wasn't that bad! You barely even tasted the worm!"
"Just knowing there was a worm in it was bad enough!"
Logan walked out of the bathroom shaking his head. Janus was still dying of laughter and Virgil had yet to finish applying his makeup.
"Still you drank out of a toilet!" Remus laughed.
"It wasn't like it was dirty. Mom had just cleaned it."
"You could've drunk bleach!"
"I'm still breathing."
Virgil packed up his stuff and left the bathroom. He didn't want to wait around for Roman to be done going over his dares with Remus. He switched out some of his stuff and slung on his bag. It wasn't too heavy. He walked off to class. He had to admit, walking around with his bag on crutches was difficult but doable. He made it to class by himself! He sat down with a smug look on his face and set his crutches on the floor. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket. It was from Roman.
Where'd you go?
Virgil smiled as he texted him back.
I'm in class. Hurry up or you'll be late, Princey!
A few minutes later Roman walked through the door.
"You came to class by yourself?!" he asked as he sat down.
Virgil shrugged.
"Yeah? It's not like I can't. You guys are just too overprotective."
"Overprotective?! You're on crutches!"
"So? I could still kick your ass if I wanted to."
"You wouldn't kick my ass. You like me too much!" Roman flashed him a grin.
"Want a bet?" Virgil asked raising his eyebrow.
Roman opened his mouth to speak just as the professor cleared her throat.
"I'll get back to you," Roman hissed as he turned towards the front of the room.
Virgil stuck out his tongue and pulled out some paper to take notes. He doodled on the sides a bit but he managed to pay attention for the most part. After class, Roman carried his stuff to his next class. Virgil was glad he managed to get his math homework done. They went over the homework and he wrote down the next assignment. After class he decided to hide in the library for a bit before his next class. As long as he didn't run into any of the others he could tell them he went to lunch already.
He spent the hour typing and editing his paper for class tomorrow. Then he printed it out and headed off to his next class. He dropped his bag on the ground and sat down next to Patton.
"Hey! Janus was worried about you! You didn't show up in the student center after class."
"Oh," Virgil rubbed the back of his neck. He didn't think not showing up would worry the others like that. "I decided to eat lunch early so I could go to the library later to type out my paper."
"Oh, by yourself?"
"Yeah, I figured it out. It's not that easy but I can manage by myself."
Patton frowned.
"Okay. If you're sure," he said sadly.
"I'm fine, Pat. Don't worry," Virgil said placing a smile on his face.
"I always worry about you guys. Are you even eating the fruit I bring you for breakfast?"
"Yes! I'm not usually hungry when I first wake up but I do eat it eventually!"
"Eventually?" Patton glared at him.
"I mean... sometimes it's a different day entirely, but I still eat it!"
Patton continued to glare at him.
"You need to eat breakfast everyday! It isn't healthy to skip meals! Breakfast is very important! It gets your body started for the day!"
"Alright! Alright! I'll try to make sure I eat it every day!"
"At breakfast?"
"I'll make sure to eat every morning. Are you happy?"
"Promise?"
Virgil sighed.
"I'll try."
"Promise!"
"Okay! Okay! Geez! I promise I'll try to eat breakfast every morning!"
Patton smiled as he turned to the front of the class.
"Good."
