TW cursing

Virgil laid on his bed with his arm behind his head staring at the ceiling. He had woken up half an hour ago... again. Now he was just waiting for the alarm to go off so he could start his day. He didn't want to give up on sleep, but he knew a few minutes wasn't going to satisfy his needs. Still, he didn't want to leave the comfort of his bed until he absolutely had to. So, he stared at the ceiling.

The only sounds in the room were the occasional shuffling of sheets and Logan's breathing. It was too quiet for Virgil's liking. If he were back home, he'd put on some music, but he couldn't do that. If only he had some sort of headphones or something. He used to have earbuds, but they broke long before school even started. Not to mention his phone was charging on the floor and to get it would mean getting out of bed. That was a lot of work.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Dammit!

He rolled out of bed and turned off his alarm. He searched the floor for his crutches. Once he found them, he stood up and walked to the bathroom. As he was leaving, Roman passed him.

"Oh, hey, Emo," Roman said.

"Morning, Princey."

"You enjoying having your own bed again?"

"No, I much prefer waking up on the floor. Sleeping is a lot more interesting when there's a possibility someone will step on you."

"All you had to say was yes."

"Where's the fun in that?"

Virgil went back to the room to get dressed. Logan was fixing his tie when Virgil entered the room. They muttered morning greetings to each other before Logan left the room. Virgil got dressed and met Roman in the hall. Roman took his bag and they walked to Spanish.

"Does your head still hurt?" Roman asked.

"What do you think?"

"Yes?"

"Someone give the man a prize."

"Don't be like that! I know my head hurt I lot when I had a concussion a few years ago."

"You've had a concussion before?"

"Yeah, I don't really remember what happened. The last thing I remember was going out with Remus. I know mom was furious with him for a while afterward. She made him stay at dad's for a bit too."

"So, you don't remember anything?"

Roman shook his head.

"Not really. But that's normal. Do you remember the crash?"

"I fell asleep behind the wheel."

"Oh, right! Sorry!"

Virgil chuckled and shook his head.

"You're a real moron sometimes."

Roman raised his hand to his chest and scoffed.

"Moi?!"

"We're going to Spanish, not French."

"Your point?"

Virgil just rolled his eyes as they walked into the room and took their seats.

"So, you said you had a concussion before?"

Roman nodded.

"How long did it take you to get over it?"
