TW panic attack, cursing

Virgil parked in the familiar parking lot and walked into the student center with his duffle bag and book bag. Patton was pacing near a table when he walked in. He stopped as soon as he saw Virgil. Patton rushed over and gave him a hug.

"Oh my gosh! What happened?! Here sit down."

Patton led him to a seat. Virgil let out a sob and Patton wrapped his arms around him.

"I-I'm sorry for calling you so late. I just... I didn't have anywhere else to go!" he said.

"No. No, you're fine! Virgil, what happened?"

"M-my dad... h-he..." Virgil choked on a sob. He couldn't believe this was happening to him. Everything was fine this morning! Virgil wiped his nose with his sleeve and took a deep breath. Patton rubbed soothing circles on his back sitting patiently. "He f-found out I-I'm gay and he..." Virgil couldn't finish the sentence, but he didn't have to. Patton seemed to understand.

"Oh. Oh, I'm so sorry, Virgil!" he said pulling him into a hug.

He let Virgil cry into his shoulder while rubbing his back. He bet he looked really pathetic right now. Gosh, he was so useless sometimes. He didn't like the fact that everyone could see him so vulnerable, but he let himself be comforted. He couldn't pull away.

He wasn't sure how long it was before he was finally able to calm down. Patton sat with him for a bit longer before leading him up to the dorms. Patton grabbed some blankets and laid them on the floor before handing him a pillow. Virgil went to the bathroom to change. He went back to Patton's room to see Patton sitting on the floor. He patted the space next to him. Virgil sat down next to him and Patton wrapped a blanket around them. He placed an arm around him pulling him close. Virgil rested his head on Patton's shoulder and felt Patton rest his head on top of his. Virgil suddenly realized how exhausted he was. It didn't take long for him to drift off.

Virgil woke up groggy on the floor. How did he get on the floor? He heard voices outside his door. He looked around and his heart sunk. He wasn't in his room. Last night's events came crashing back to him. Ohnoohnoohnoohnoohnoohnonononononononono! He wasn't home. He was sleeping on Patton's floor! He had called him in the middle of the night begging for help. He was staying in their room! His dad had kicked him out. He felt scared and alone. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't breathe.

"....il..."

"Vi.... il..."

"Virgil!"

Virgil snapped his head up to see Logan kneeling beside him.

"Hey. I need you to breathe okay? Breathe in for four seconds."

Virgil did as he was told.

"Now hold it for seven seconds."

Virgil waited until Logan spoke again.

"Okay, now breathe out for eight seconds."

Virgil followed his instruction. Logan directed him in breathing until Virgil was able to calm down. Logan unnecessarily straightened his glasses.

"Are you... are you okay?" Logan asked.

Virgil nodded taking another deep breath. Logan mimicked his nod before standing up.

"I'll be across the hall if you need me," Logan said before walking away.

"Wait-"

Logan turned around pausing at the doorway.

"Where are the others?"

"I'm not entirely sure. They could be getting breakfast."

Virgil just nodded and stood up. He grabbed some clothes to change into and found Logan still standing awkwardly in the doorway.
