Coated with dirt and dripping sweat Kennedy finally had made it back into the castle where she would soon be heading off to lunch. After class had officially ended Hagrid still hadn't made it back to help her put Soot and Buckbeak away, and of course the two of them decided to take advantage of this.

When Kennedy had finally gotten a chain situated around Buckbeak she turned around to do the same with Soot but she hadn't noticed that Buckbeak had began to creep away. The worst part about this was that the snapped chain on the end of the link got snagged on her boot laces.

Soot had kept jerking his head away from her so she couldn't chain him up as a distraction so Buckbeak could get away, but at the last second when Buckbeak went flying into the air Kennedy followed soon after.

Buckbeak flapped his wings so he was floating a few feet off the ground as he sped through the forest. Little did he know there was a screaming Kennedy being dragged behind him while a panicked Griffin rampaged after the two.

Kennedy was slipping and sliding all over the place, smacking into hills and tree stumps and she even flew over a blackberry bush which she was incredibly thankful for. Anytime she tried call out Buckbeak's name he just would fly faster, probably assuming she was running behind him and catching up.

Dirt flew into Kennedy's face as she was dragged over a few sticks and rocks followed by her barely swerving out of the way of a large bolder sitting in front of her.

Grunt after grunt escaped her mouth for a solid five minutes until Buckbeak was slammed into from his side to reveal an angered Soot snorting his disbelief at the animal who seemed to finally look back and realize that Kennedy had been dragged for a solid three and a half miles away from the outdoor classroom.

The two creatures felt terribly bad so they left with her without a single toe tap of off the trail that Kennedy left behind her, not a single squawk leaving either of there beaks.

Rubbing her red eyes free of the dirt that was trapped within her eyelids Kennedy stared down at her white button up and sighed. There were no holes thankfully but she looked like she just came back from having dinner with cavemen after they had escaped the jaws of a large t-rex.

With a sigh leaving her grimy figure Kennedy just headed straight towards the great hall without a single thought of going to get clean swimming into her mind. At this point in her life she had gone into the great hall looking far worse then she did now, so for her to walk in with dirt all over her was no surprise to anyone.

Quickly but quietly Kennedy sped walk over to the Gryffindor table where a few of her friends had already gathered, though some were sitting in different spots then usual.

"Hey, where are the girls and Lee?" She asked to Maisie and Cedric who sat next to Leighton, Benny, Milo, Gabrielle and the twins.

Without a second glance Cedric respond while he had his arm holding Maisie close to his body who as per usual was reading a book, though her attention on it seemed to shift from it's pages to Cedric who loomed over her slightly.

"They're at the far end of the table. Something about Angelina and Alicia wanting to talk to him about some quidditch moves, but Katie didn't want to be left out so she dragged Lee with her." He explained which made Kennedy snicker some.

"We just didn't feel like going." George added with a smile.

"Was it a team meeting or something?" Kennedy asked.

"No," Fred cut in. "But since everyone was going it might as well have been."

Kennedy smiled at his words until she felt a small tug on her hair from beside her. She turned her head slightly to see Milo pulling a leaf from her head with confusion and disappointment on his face.
