The following day Kennedy dragged herself out of McGonagall's office after a very sluggish hour long conversation about her behavior. The women told Kennedy if she didn't shape up here soon she was going to end up in another week long detention.
But of course as per usual Kennedy had to let another sarcastic response but thankfully McGonagall decided to save them both the trouble and just let her go.
So now Kennedy found herself in her school robes next to George, Cedric and Maisie out in the courtyard awaiting for Harry to arrive with his so called 'urgent' information that Kennedy needed to hear.
"What do you think he has his boxers in a bunch for?" George mumbled as he sat on a cement planter while Kennedy was sat between his legs so he could braid her hair.
"I'll do you one better, why can't Harry ever get his boxers out of a bunch?" Kennedy mumbled with a small smile as she looked over a couple of Maisie's papers for one of her higher level classes.
"Hey, Maisie? Everything on the essay looks good, but on section four there are a few lines right here that don't match up with what you introduced in your introduction. Other than that, you're all set to turn it in!" Kennedy exclaimed as she handed the papers off to Maisie who was laying against Cedric's chest while he lay back against a cement column.
"Ugh, why couldn't you have lied and just said it was fine? I do not want to spend anymore time writing about why Centaur dung is a good substitute for... uh, shit. What am I writing about?" Maisie questioned as she flipped her papers around to try and see.
Cedric let out a small rumble of laughter as he rest his chin atop her head.
"Well you are the one who informed her to tell you what is needed to be corrected no matter what, so technically this is your doing." He state.
Maisie spun around to look at him with a blank stare before she blinked dramatically at him.
"Where is my boyfriend and what have you done with him?"
"What do you mean?" He laughed.
"Normally he would have comfort me in my time of need."
"Your time of need?"
"Yes."
"But I thought you were always needy?"
"Exactly." Maisie state with a smile as she pat his cheek before returning to the position she was in before, rest against his chest.
"Wait.. I can't tell if I just got bamboozled or she just.. I'm lost." Cedric comment causing George to chuckle as he started to braid the bottom of Kennedy's long brown hair.
The three fell into blissful silence while they enjoyed just having one another as company as the sun shined down of them midway in the sky.
"Uh oh, here comes trouble." Kennedy mumbled as she glanced up to see peoples heads turning.
"How do you know?" George asked.
"Harry and I haven't exactly been the schools favorites as of recently, but he seems to gain the most of the attention. Not that I mind, but I feel bad for him." She explained as the long haired boy round the corner with a wad of The Daily Prophet in hand.
Kennedy immediately straightened up when seeing the paper before she let out a sharp groan as she slid down into Georges awaiting arms.
"What?" He laughed.
"The boy's supposedly 'urgent' information is the report that Rita gave on me." She whined while Harry arrived soon after in front of her.
"Read this." Harry state.
