While Kennedy gently hummed a tune to try and calm Hermione who she could hear shifting around behind her, Kennedy let her mind wonder around to many different things.
Dumbledore would be back at Hogwarts soon so she surely would have to pay him a visit soon to see how his meeting with the ministry went. She didn't know much of what was going down at the ministry so she was sincerely hoping Dumbledore would explain to her when he returned.
Speaking of things that had to do with her father Kennedy had remembered she hadn't yet had a discussion with Professor Kettleburn about letting him use Soot for his magical creatures classes. Hagrid had apparently talked to the man about Soot and the professor seemed to always find Kennedy around the school so he could talk to her about Soot.
As much as she adored talking about her friend and going to see him, she had been down to the forest about 6 times in the last week. Even Kennedy could see that Soot was getting quite annoyed at the constant appearance of herself and the professor.
Griffins are quite independent as a whole, but Soot was a bit more particular about his independence. He enjoyed seeing Kennedy and other people occasionally but he really enjoyed spending his time in the trees and flying around. Soot definitely wasn't a fan of being tied down.
That being said she probably would have a harder time convincing Soot to be apart of the class then she would trying to convince Kettleburn to let Soot be apart of a couple lessons.
Apart from that Kennedy didn't think the whole lesson thing was a bad idea. She just would need to inform Kettleburn to keep extra mutton on hand and to keep kid's a solid ten feet away from Soot so he won't nip at anyone's toes like he did Fred.
Speaking of Fred, she hadn't had the pleasure of seeing him or his brother at all today. They seemed to disappear which was fairly unlikely of them since they tend to cause far to much noise to go by anyone inconspicuously.
That'll be what she will have to do sooner rather then later after Harry and Ron get back.
Sighing as she leant her head against the door behind her Kennedy decided it was time to be a bit more tough with her approach to get Hermione out of her toilet stall. Though just as she stood up a sudden icy blare of air froze her blood in an instant.
Kennedy squealed only to look to her right to see a smirking Myrtle floating and giggling next to her.
"Myrtle?! Ugh gross..." Kennedy complained as she rubbed her arms quickly to bring some circulation to her frozen limbs.
"Oh I'm so sorry.. I just didn't see you there." Myrtle giggled out as she flew to the left side of Kennedy who watched her carefully.
"Uh oh.." She hummed out which made Kennedy raise her brows at the ghost. "It seems as though I've tripped over my robes!"
"How does a ghost tri- Myrtle!!" Kennedy shout once more as Myrtle cackled menacingly as she passed through Kennedy's body once more causing her began shouting loudly at Myrtle who flew around above her cackling.
"Hermione, come out! Kennedy weve got loads to tell.. you?" Harry said as he saw Kennedy shouting up at Myrtle who flew down towards him with a smile.
"Go away!" Hermione shout once more which made Kennedy groan out of frustration.
"Hermione if you don't come out, I'm coming in!"
"Wait till you see. Its awful!" Myrtle laughed out as the bathroom door slowly crept open.
"Hermione? Are you ok?" Harry quietly asked as Hermione carefully stepped out of the bathroom. As she did so Hermione no longer stood where she had once disappeared to. Instead a large cat face covered where Hermione's once was.
