Almost as if Kennedy had just blinked she came back to full consciousness, everything around her becoming far less blue then she had moments ago seen them as. Shock came over her as she flew off the blue faced Gabrielle she had apparently been chocking.

The one thing that led her friends and the teachers to the great hall where they stood wide eyed at the entrance looking to the two, was the sorrowful and blood stilling curdling scream Kennedy let out.

Her eyes never once left the red white eyes of Gabrielle's that were now littered with red veins all across its pure surface.

The ache in her heart was unimaginable

Screams shredded her lungs and rattled her head as she scrambled away from his non moving body. The hand that had taken the gift of air away from her best friend shook in front of her face. Kennedy held her hand as far away from her as she could.

The idea that her own body had been used to kill someone she loved was mental and physical torture.

Not only were her screams the ones she heard, but another couple screams sound out.

Kennedy snapped her head towards the noise and saw Milo and Leighton charging toward Gabrielle's body that lay on the floor next to the feet of Dumbledore, Minerva and a few other professors that had gathered in the room.

Tears streamed down Leighton and Milos face while Benny collapsed to the floor behind her directly onto his knees beside Cedric and Maisie who clasped there arms around him. They whispered to him while Lee and Fred went to help the professors pry Leighton and Milo off of there friends corpse.

Everything was moving to quickly or her liking as Kennedy cried and screamed at the sight of her grieving friends.

Dumbledore seemed to remember what she had done and looked to her with a mixture of shock and sorrow filling his eyes.

She felt arms squeeze her to a chest but she pay no mind to it as she stared toward Gabrielle who deserved so much more then what her father had done to him.

And he had done it through her.

He made her kill him. All for his plan that she hadn't even known much of. But for now all she could think of was the grief that swallowed everyone she loved and held close to her whole.

Minerva gave Dumbledore a pleading look when students began to pile at the door, more sobs coming from Gabrielle's fellow housemates.

Dumbledore knew all to well what the women was suggesting, so to put her mind at ease as he whipped his wand out and spelled the doors close.

Kennedy could only watch as Lee and Fred tore Leighton and Milo away from there friend while someone she couldn't register lift the limp boy into his arms. She could only assume it was Snape who swept the boy's body away from the chaos he had died in.

Almost as if that were a button in her mind Kennedy lunged forward toward the man in hopes to get him to drop the boy to the ground.

But the only thing she saw was Dumbledore flick his wand in her direction, sending her to the floor in a limp and pitiful lump as white filled her vision.

And then once more, she fell asleep.

"Honeyduke's Sweetshop is brilliant, but nothing beats Zonko's Joke Shop." Ron state as Hermione and Harry walked next to him up one of the flights of stairs that led to the Gryffindor Common room.

Ever since they had walked into the castle the place felt oddly still. Not a lot was happening and there were very few students in the halls, but the ones that were in the halls were all teary eyed or leant against the wall with blank expressions.
