With the paper laying in front of her Kennedy glanced up to Snape who nodded his head at her to read the paper. Immediately Kennedy was bombarded with a list of things she would have to abide by if he wanted to remain at Hogwarts.
As a statement under the appeal of The Minister of Magic, Ms. Kennedy Deadlock will remain at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Though as we saw the response to this statement -that had been given last week- we realize this greatly upset families that have a child or more attending Hogwarts.
We understand the panic you must be having, but Headmaster Albus Dumbledore and The Ministry assure you we are taking all precautions incase of another untimely event that may or may not take place.
Kennedy Deadlock is nothing but a child that was born into a family just like every single one of us have been. Her family on one end happened to be one of great destruction, pain and chaos within their history. She is not to blame for the actions that took place as of a few days prior to this announcement.
Her father, Foster Deadlock is the only person to blame for the death of Gabrielle Reith. In fact, Kennedy Deadlock was the one who single handedly brought the boy back from the dead. How, we are unsure. Alongside this and her abilities (If you are not familiar with the Deadlock Heritage, see section C32-E2 on the Daily Prophet from this week), we are unsure of what they extend to.
We understand the severity of the situation at hand, but understand The Ministry would not allow someone of uncontrolled danger to remain at Hogwarts around your children if we were not absolutely certain we could control this young girl.
With all of this being said, we formally present to you the guidelines Ms. Kennedy Deadlock will be required to follow if she so chooses to remain at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
1) Ms. Kennedy Deadlock will no longer be apart of the Gryffindor Quidditch team at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry do to the risk of her pulse rising to high, which could or could not cause an outbreak of her abilities. (Once more, we are unsure of the potential her abilities hold)
2) Ms. Kennedy Deadlock is to no longer go on school permitted trips to Hogsmeade for the rest of her time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry unless accompanied by a staff member of higher order.
3) Ms. Kennedy Deadlock will be required to attend daily training sessions to learn to control her abilities under the watch of Professor Severus Snape and The Auror Nova Erolain under the advisement of The Ministry of Magic and Headmaster Albus Dumbledore of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
And finally the last requirement.
4) Kennedy Deadlock will no longer be sharing a dorm with her peers until further notice, she will be moved to a room on the far western side of the castle where she will be close to Headmaster Albus Dumbledore incase of another untimely event.
The Ministry of Magic assures you the situation at hand is being handled, if you have any further questions regarding Ms. Kennedy Deadlock, her Father, or Gabrielle Reith, send in a letter and we will get back to you soon.
Signed, The Minister of Magic and Albus Dumbledore
Kennedy read over the paper twice before she dropped it to the table out of frustration, anger and annoyance. Snape watched her carefully as she went through many waves of different emotions in the span of two seconds.
"I- what?!" Kennedy gaped as she looked over the rules once more. "They make me sound like I'm a ticking time bomb!"
Snape didn't respond - even though he agreed with her being a ticking time bomb- and decided it would be best to let her go through her frustration alone for the time being.
