Kennedy currently sat outside of Kings Cross Station with a cart full of her belongings as she looked on into the crowded bustling station. The girl smiled to herself as she remembered rather vividly her first year being introduced to the wizarding world:

Just like every other day Kennedy had ran out the front doors of her small school for in a few days Orientation would start for the kids going into their six grade year. Not looking forward to this day, Kennedy sprint across the front lawn of the school till she made it to the cross walk that lay in front of the school grounds.

As she waited for a few cars to pass the girl carefully walked across the street before she walked along the sidewalk with her hands stuffed in her pockets. The town she lived in wasn't the nicest, nor the safest, but her Aunt refused to be responsible for the 11 year old girl and would insist she could walk a few miles home by herself.

After walking in a straight line for about 30 minutes, the small girl came across the same left turn she always turned down on her back to the apartment she shared with her Aunt.

Upon turning the corner, Kennedy smiled when she spot the brown tabby cat that always wait around the corner for her when she would anytime she left the apartment for the last two months. Trotting up to the small cat she bent down and unzipped her jacket pocket as she took out a small can of sardine flavored cat food.

"Hey there, Kibbles." She said humming in pure delight as she clicked open the small can.

Kennedy looked to the cat with a large smile as she gently stroked the animal from its head, to its tail as she gazed adoringly at the animal. The best part about the cat in her opinion were its bright almost human looking eyes.

Setting the can down, she watched the small cat paw at the fish before the animal looked to the girl, seeming rather disgusted by the canned cat food.

"Yeah, yeah. I should know by now not to get you cat food. You never seem to take any interest in anything other then bread and jelly filled donuts." Kennedy said chuckling before she picked up the animal much to her dislike.

Carefully Kennedy walked a little bit more down the busy people filled street till a large apartment complex came into her view.

Walking up to the gate, she unlatched the small electrical like box giving an attempt to buzz herself in, but it seemed as though her Aunt wasn't home.

Again.

Usually she was out getting drunk or coming home with a guy drunk, or coming home from work drunk, or on the occasion that Kennedy loved, her aunt wouldn't even come home at all.

Huffing in annoyance the brown haired girl looked down to the cat who looked up at her expectedly.

"Guess I've got to go the long way, huh, Kibbles?" She said giving the cat a small shake as she meowed inn protest while her claws gripped the fabric of Kennedy's jacket rather roughly.

Making her way around the large building that was covered in chipped yellow painted bricks and green mold, Kennedy spotted the old dumpster that hadn't moved spots for the last seven years.

Walking over to it, she placed the cat onto the dumpster before she pulled herself up, soon after grabbing the animal once more.

Glancing overhead the girl reached up to grip the old rusty latter that hung above her before she pulled it down some so she could hoist herself, and Kibbles, up the ladder.

After quite a bit of struggle the girl and the stray cat arrived to the top before she made her way up six flights of stairs to get to her ratty old window.
