Swears flew out of Kennedy's mouth as she rampaged down the crowded halls. even though it had been a while since Kennedy had awakened from her coma, people still seemed to be shocked when they saw her around the school.
In all honesty, a lot of them seemed frightened. Though Kennedy didn't blame them. She would have been scared shitless as well if some girl who has a- dangerous past suddenly grew wings and bruised skin. Not to mention she had been gone for a while so nobody had to deal with her much.
Until now.
But Kennedy really didn't mind everyone being scared of her anymore. If anything it freed up her day to do anything she so pleased without being interrupted.
So as she flew down the corridor on her own two feet and people eyed her wearily, she pay no mind to them as she hunt down someone she could annoy to get her mind off the women she had just waste ten minutes talking to.
And she passed the great hall she about ran straight into George, causing him to halt his movements completely which result in Lee smacking face-first into his back.
"-George! That hurt you git." Lee grumbled as he rubbed his nose that turned a darker shade of pink from the impact he had gotten while hitting George.
"Oh, sorry- Kenny, what's wrong? You look like someone just insulted your grandmother." George sputtered as he looked down at the girl whose cheeks were shaded.
"I don't have a grandma, first of all. Second of all, take a wild guess who I just met." Kennedy snarled while she fiddled with her fingers.
George took a glance at Lee who shrugged as his eyes danced around the hall, most likely looking for Katie who had been away most of the day.
"Umbridge-"
"Mother fudging Umbridge George! The women are psychotic, and not the kind that can be helped. I mean, she brought me in only to interrogate me about my 'abilities' and then tried to ask me if I've been apart of any sort of activity involving the school-"
Georgess eyes widened slightly and he glanced around him once more before pulling her arm so they were closer to the wall instead of the center of the hall.
"-not to mention the fact that she was extraordinarily rude and claiming that I was disrespectful towards her. She clearly hasn't met a decent person in her life even once." Kennedy ranted while furrowing her brows at George.
"George, what're you-"
"I have to tell you something, but you need to keep quiet about it, alright? A lot of people have been working really hard at keeping this a secrete." George informed the girl who still remained puzzled.
"Keeping what a secrete?"
"...Ron, Harry, and Hermione gathered our friends and other students at hogshead inn a few days ago on the last Hogsmeade trip we went on. We all decided that it would be best to start teaching ourselves to defend ourselves since Umbridge isn't doing anything."
Kennedy glanced to the hall again where she saw Lee trailing behind Katie like a lost puppy who was happily watching him with glee.
"She hasn't been teaching?"
"Might as well not be. She has us reading out of books and we aren't even allowed to do any magic. Its idiotic, really."
"What? Why would she do that? Our school is literally called Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It's basically got magic in the name." Kennedy deadpanned as she watched George who's eyes finally connect to hers.
"Exactly. That's why we've got this little thing going on. Actually, our first meeting is tomorrow, so I'll come to grab you from your room tomorrow at noon to take you." George state.
