About a day had gone by and Kennedy hadn't had all that much to do. Every since she had finished her NEWTs there wasn't much more to do around the school other then check in with her professors and make sure she didn't have to do anything to help bring her grade up.
Since the twins had made there fantastically planned out escape from the hell that Umbridge liked to call school ever since she had been declared the headmaster, things around Hogwarts had been a lot less eventful.
Though even with the two rambunctious boys gone, there was still a thick whisper going about the school about what some kids were planning on doing to keep there legacy going strong.
So even though Kennedy had been split apart from her two scheming boys, it didn't truly feel like she had. Even if she wasn't seeing them daily in the halls, the whispers floating around the school kept there spirits alive.
In fact many students had already began to plot against Umbridge in their final attempts to rid the school of that wretched women.
In the end, the halls at Hogwarts were far less calm then they had been before.
Which meant Kennedy, Maisie and Gabrielle had to find a knew place to read there books in the sunshine which inevitably led to the three sitting out in the quart yard where they hoped nobody would bother them.
"Hold on- you mean to tell me you read ahead in the book about Diana and Freya who were just about to sneak up to there conniving husbands who were flirting with three weirdly sketchy women?" Gabrielle practically screamed from how appalled he was at Maisie who shrugged her shoulders.
"I mean yeah... what? Did you plan on me waiting for you? Clearly you do not understand what it means to be in a book club with Maisie Henson." Maisie said in third person to the boy who gaped and looked to Kennedy for back up.
"Don't look at Kennedy!" The girl laughed at her play along with third person. "Kennedy merely read to you what she knew Maisie had. Though in the end Maisie ended up reading more then Kennedy had anticipated."
Gabrielle stopped his gaping to swat away the hair dangling in his face, only for him to blink blankly at Kennedy as he tried to process what she just said.
"Gabrielle doesn't understand why Kennedy and Maisie decided third person would be the best to talk like, so now Gabrielle is confused which will eventually tie up Maisie and Kennedy who started talking in third person first, so Maisie and Kennedy must take the blame." Gabrielle rambled on causing Maisie and Kennedy to look at each other.
"Maisie regrets what Maisie has done." Maisie laughed. "About the third person, not the reading ahead."
"Maybe Kennedy and Maisie should stop talking like they're the authors of a book." Kennedy point out to her best friend who pout.
"Maybe Kennedy is right. Maybe Maisie and Kennedy should stop speaking in third person so Gabrielle, Kennedy, and Maisie don't confuse one another." Maisie spoke with a joking manor.
"Okay, guy's. Seriously. It's starting to give me a headache trying to manage who is saying what." Gabrielle complained with a slight huff.
"Okay! Okay." Kennedy laughed. "Hey how's your eye doing? I kind of spaced on punching George for payback because he started being all cute and stuff."
At that Gabrielle scoffed with a smile as he rolled his eyes.
"It's fine, thanks for asking. Though did he tell you about the sick bruise I left on his ribs?" Gabrielle state with a smile that made Kennedy almost feel bad at answering his question.
"Uh... no? He didn't really look like he had been in pain when he left."
Gabrielle's face fell as he shot up from his seat on the ground.
