Once Kennedy was all situated in a nice pair of jeans, sneakers and a long sleeve she wondered down the stairs where she had past a rather snarky Kreacher on the way. Step by step Kennedy pranced down the stairs until she found herself in a hall that led to the kitchen.

A grin came across her face when she smelt something far to familiar to have been created in such a place as the one she had been in. With a newfound pep in her step Kennedy took off down the hall and sprang through the doorway to come face to face with-

Nobody.

Confusion was raked across Kennedy's face as she slowly crept further into the kitchen, occasionally spinning in a circle to make sure she wasn't just going absolutely crazy.

When nobody came into view Kennedy hadn't been able to tell if she was extremely relieved or overly disappointed. Either way, she was more then sad to see that a certain red haired women hadn't been in the room baking her famous cobbler.

Though a small smile was brought onto her face when she saw a small pan holding something similar to it, but not quite what Molly always made. A soft knock came from the doorway leading Kennedy to spin around. There stood a beautiful women with multicolored hair offering her a sweet smile that reassured Kenned danger was not afoot.

"Hi." Kennedy said while shifting on her feet. After the time she had spent alone, she had to admit, it had gotten just slightly harder to talk to new faces. Normally she didn't have a problem, but after all that she had been through a simple hello was scarier then facing Voldemort.

"Hello." The women said while walking forward and offering her hand. "I don't believe we have formally met yet... Nymphadora Tonks. Though I prefer to just be called Tonks. Dora on the occasion that I feel fancy."

A small laugh slipped from Kennedy's lips as she tentatively shook the women's hand, gripping it firmly and shaking it well.

"Kennedy Deadlock... though considering the situation I'm in I'm sure you already knew that." Kennedy said with an awkward smile.

"That I did. But it didn't hurt to introduce again in a formal matter, now did it?" Tonks said with a goofy yet comforting smile apparent on her face.

"I guess not."

"So, I know you must've thought Molly was here considering that is something of the like of what she normally cooked. I knew you must be feeling a bit all over the place so I figured a familiar meal may settle you some." The women explained to Kennedy who glanced to the food appreciatively.

"Thank you, Tonks." Kennedy replied while grabbing the cooled off pan before moving to the other side of the room to grab a fork. Finally she situate herself in a chair at the table before glancing to Tonks.

The women was about to speak again when Kennedy smiled sheepishly and flicked out a second fork from within her hand, leaving Tonks to laugh and shake her head.

"No thank you. Remus made everyone breakfast earlier before Sirius woke you up."

"Kreacher, actually." Kennedy laughed. "Not the most lovely face to wake up to in the morning."

"Ah, yes. I believe a certain ginger would be the chosen one then?" Tonks teased with a knowing look that caused Kennedy's cheeks to flare a gentle pink, and though she was going to respond truthfully a rather loud set of offset footsteps poked at Kennedy's ears.

Turning her head slightly Kennedy peered behind her to see none other than Mad-Eye moody waddling restlessly into the kitchen, grumbling on about whatever nonsense he managed to think of or claim to have seen in his days as an official auror.
