A week has passed and the day of Bill and Fleurs wedding has arrived quicker than what had been expected. Of course, the date had been set months ago, but with the recent events things got fairly hairy and details regarding the wedding had been long since forgotten.
So much so that Molly now had Kennedy sitting in the middle of the living room floor that morning surrounded by flowers that she was meant to pluck every petal from as delicately as she possibly could.
Mind you Kennedy had only just woken up roughly an hour ago and was still puffy in the face while wearing one of Georges shirts and a pair of her own shorts. Though even with sleep still marinating in her skin Kennedy had managed to go through about seven dozen bundles of flowers.
Most of them were white, but a couple here and there had been dyed black or were naturally a light lilac purple to match the table décor that had been decided upon by the bride and groom. At one point Ginny had wandered in and helped some, but when she checked the time she claimed she had to run off and get ready.
Though knowing Ginny the only thing she really had to 'get ready' with was a dress, some mascara, and some lip gloss. Kennedy and Ginny were alike in the sense that smothering their face in make-up, an art form or not, was not the thing for them. If anything it made them feel heavy and dirty by the end of the day.
So when Kennedy heard a rumble of footsteps and Ginny hurrying down the stairs to a mirror just before Harry entered the room she couldn't help but let a smirk on her lips while she shook her head.
"Bloody hell," Kennedy muttered with a laugh causing Ginny to send a sharp glare her way.
"Were you going to tell me?" Ginny mumbled as she watched Harry in the background. Behind Harry, he was shoved aside by Maisie whose hair was all over the place, and she wore similar clothes to Kennedy's, though her shirt was clearly Leightons.
"Yes," Harry mumbled after eyeing Maisie weirdly, though Kennedy smiled at the girl from the floor as she watched Maisies face plant onto the couch.
"And Ron and Hermione. Theyll not be going back to Hogwarts either?" Ginny asked which almost piqued Kennedy's curiosity until Maisie mumbled and grumbled before grabbing a bundle of flowers, picking off each rose carefully, and dropping it into a basket nearby.
Kennedy smiled just as Maisie turned her gaze to her.
"What?" She mumbled harshly while Kennedy smirked as Ginny and Harry continued their conversation.
"You're wearing Leightons shirt." Kennedy laughed with a playful look that made Maisie roll her eyes.
"Yippee, big deal. Moving on."
"We're talking about this later."
"Nope," Maisie replied while looking behind Kennedy who was about to turn around when both Benny and Gabriel dropped to the floor next to Kennedy, both grabbing bundles of flowers in hand.
Benny lay on his back as he plucked the petals of the flower while Gabriel sat identical to Kennedy, though his face was far more sleep-heavy than hers had been. Another genuine smile made its way onto Kennedy's face as she bumped the boy sitting next to her who offered her a lazy grin in return.
"Zip me up, will you." Kennedy heard Ginny command Harry who seemed all too excited in an awkward yet bashful way.
Kennedy pursed her lips in an attempt to hold back her laughter, though Maisie freely let her snort out as she watched the two, only slightly gaining Harry's attention that a crowd was watching them like a movie in the cinemas.
Harry's hands moved delicately as if he were scared to hurt the girl while he gently zipped up Ginny's dress. Kennedy's face started to turn wide and red as she cringed, practically leaving all her dead weight onto Gabriel who was laughing at Kennedy more than he was Ginny and Harry.
