Dinner time was as uneventful as any normal day at Hogwarts could've been outside of the giggles George and Kennedy would share from having to pull Maisie into the hall for dinner. The usual conversations flowed and a few remarks flew from Maisie and Angelina's mouth's towards one another in a not so subtle fashion.

Kennedy had felt as though she was the only one at the table unaware of the tension between the two which honestly made her feel like she was losing her friends trust. Though that was far from the case Kennedy couldn't help but feel this way.

Trying to avoid any conflicting feelings that she was currently feeling Kennedy was on her way to Professor Dumbledore's office the following morning since he had excused her from her first class.

Taking her time to get to the office Kennedy slowly walked through the halls with her hands tucked in her long robe sleeves as she hummed a gentle tune to herself.

As she hummed a familiar tune she was unsure of where she had heard it she unintentionally brought her free hand up to fumble with her necklace. As she did so her attention drift away from her humming and went to the small charm that hung from her neck.

The more Kennedy had thought about stranger things that had happened to her in the last years she couldn't help but wonder if they had happened from the necklace or if the necklace had protected her from the dangers she had faced.

'Guess we will have to find out one way or another eventually.' Kennedy thought to herself as she began to make her way toward a large statue that she was far to familiar with for her liking.

Deciding she would have the twins help her with the necklace theory later she stopped in front of the large golden statue before she spoke loud and clear.

"Lemon Drop." A moment passed before the large statue started to spin upward which led to Kennedy stepping gently onto one of the rising steps.

Once the statue arrived to the top she gently walked up to a large wooden door to which she knocked her small fist against.

"Come in." A low voice mumbled, to which she did.

As she entered she didn't bother to look around the large room that held moving paintings on the upper walls and loads of different books and artifacts of many kinds upon high and low shelves. Politely Kennedy walked to stand in front of Dumbledore who quickly finished using his quill so he could put his undivided attention on Kennedy.

"You arrived quite late Ms. Deadlock." Dumbledore state with a small knowing smile on his lips that caused Kennedy to cringe ever so slightly.

"No offense Professor but.. I fear I've been to your office more times then I had hoped to within the last few years."

To this the headmaster chuckled lightly while he stood himself from his chair only to walk around his desk so he could stand next to Kennedy.

"Yes, well that would go for you and me both," He playfully state which caused Kennedy to crack a smile and roll her eyes ever so slightly. "I'm afraid that this matter is of a more serious nature. I would prefer this not be repeated to anyone, though the likely hood of that is slim. Could you try and promise me this Kennedy?"

"Yes Professor."

Moments after Dumbledore excused her Kennedy found herself sprinting through her halls in attempts to get to her DADA class on time since the headmaster had taken a rather longtime explaining the current situation Kennedy was put in.

As she sprint up a few flights of stairs Kennedy could feel how tense her shoulders were and how the crick in her neck pinched when she moved a certain way. The last few nights Kennedy struggled to sleep since she kept having dreams of her father and herself.
