With her butt sat on the back of the couch Kennedy was trying to figure out what to say to Leighton, Milo and Benny. There were so many ideas flooding her mind but she wasn't quite sure on what would be the proper way to address there current situation.

Should she be forward and just apologize? No, that could come off as needy and she didn't want to be needy. What if she just let them make the first move? Eh, that probably would end in a long and awkward silence.

'Maybe I should just wait for someone to come and help me with this.' Kennedy thought as she rubbed her hands up and down her face out of pure frustration.

Though she understood that nobody could really assist her with the situation she was in. Seriously, who else had a blood thirsty father that has a magical family history and used his own daughter to murder one of her close friends just to prove himself worthy of whatever plan he had?

It was easy to assume nobody.

With a sigh leaving her lips Kennedy kicked off the back of the couch and made her way toward the portrait where she then pushed it open. Every step she took should've made the nerves in her stomach increase, but the more she walked, the more she thought.

And the more she thought, the more she was able to realize something.

Whether any one of the boys would decide they wanted to remain her friend or not was up to them. Either way Kennedy would be happy and confused.

If they decided to be her friend still she would be able to have relief knowing she won't just be scaring everyone she loves away, but at the same time they would still be in danger because of her and her family conflicts.

But if they left, well, Kennedy would have lost someone she adored. Then again at the same time they would at least be safe and away from her.

So as she round a corner and hopped down a few staircase's Kennedy had a bit more confidence in her stride. She didn't even care to notice the staring from her fellow schoolmates as she wondered down another stray hall toward the owlery where she could only assume the three may be.

Even with how confident Kennedy was feeling a small bubble of nerves was still dug deep in her soul. But she had to go into this with a mind as open as possible so she could be ready for whatever any of them would decide.

Plus, if Gabrielle could forgive her, they easily could. I mean she pretty much murdered him and he found it in his heart to look past what had happened and still remain as her friend. Now there would for sure be some conflicts in the future with what happened, and Kennedy was sure of that. But she had peace at mind knowing they would still have the opportunity to have such conflicts arrive rather then nothing at all.

So when her feet made contact with the first stone step up to the owlery Kennedy couldn't help but strut up the stairs like she owner the damn place. Though the further she went up the more her strutting faded into hobbling as the stench of bird poop over powered her nostrils.

She continued to falter as she pinched her nose and waddled up the last few spiraling steps but when the open area came to her eyes she couldn't help but smile as the view in front of her looked like a painted picture she once saw on a school fieldtrip before Hogwarts and her beginning journey into the Wizarding world.

The moment of peace was quickly swept away from her when she remembered why she had came up here. Swiftly her eyes danced around the first floor and nobody had been up here. She turned around and walked back up the stairs hoping to find somebody she knew up there.

Soon enough she reached the top floor where some hushed voices were heard above her, causing Kennedy to slow her steps up as she came loser to the top of the owlery. Carefully she neared the railing of the stairs and poked her head around to see Milo and Benny sat on the railing around the open room seeming unbothered by the height at which they could fall.
