((Once again.. unedited. I'm sorry, my brain cant handle looking at words any longer haha))
With her shoulders still shrugged the two teachers looked to her amused. She couldn't help but let a slight laugh out at how ridiculous her current situation was. What are the odds of a giant griffin breaking a hole in your brand new room? Likely slim to none, but for Kennedy, her odds seemed to be greatly higher then the average student.
Oddly enough, she didn't seem to mind it. Soot had done a lot for her over the years and she adored the creature with all her heart. So, if it came down to it, she would gladly sacrifice a chunk of her time to hash it out with Dumbledore and or Kingsley if it really came down to it.
With that thought Kennedy's smile faded into one of worry as she remembered what day it was and how she was on thin ice with the Ministry and people in General.
"Dumbledore?" Kennedy whispered as she dropped her shoulders.
"Yes?" He questioned with his brows raised.
"You won't have Soot executed, will you?" She mumbled under her breath.
The man seemed to grow confused at the girl but he did hold a speck of pity in his eyes when he saw the genuine worry that was etched across her face, even if she did try to hide it.
A small smile made its way onto his lips and he stepped forward carefully so he could place a gentle hand on the girls shoulder.
"Now Kennedy, what type of person would I be if I took a young girls pet when she has had so much taken from her already? And it isn't quite up to me, Kingsley and the Ministry have the final say." Dumbledore state making Kennedy frown until he continued.
"That being said.. that would only happen if I report to the Ministry. Clearly there is no immediate danger present as of this moment, so I will let this go just once Ms. Deadlock." He mumbled.
"Speaking of danger." McGonagall said. "Let me clean this all up for you."
With a smile on her face she lift her wand into the air and gave it a delicate flick in the general direction of the hole in the wall, and next thing Kennedy new bits of brick, dust and glass went soaring into the air.
Brick by brick the hole not only was repaired and replaced with a nice window with a balcony (most likely for Soot and her) but McGonagall had even gone so far to get the room completely dust free for her. Once she was finished she turned to Soot who looked far to bored with his current place in the room.
"As for you," McGonagall state. "As long as you don't break another hole in this castle, you are free to do as you please. Just keep those paws of your nice and clean." She dismissed before walking out of the room with a smirking Dumbledore following behind her since he knew the woman held a soft spot for the younger girl.
And though he wouldn't admit it, so did he.
Once her door closed Kennedy turned her head to look behind her at the griffin who looked to be holding a smirk of his own on his face while she looked to him with one of exasperation.
"You were the cause of my minor panic attack just then. You know that?"
Soot snort a few times as if he was laughing causing Kennedy to roll her eyes.
"Jerk."

With her tie hung loosely over her shoulders Kennedy tossed her robes onto her bed and ran her hands over her face. She had just gotten done studying and had even moved one of her days of detention to today to get a head start. Thankfully she was with Professor Sprout, so she spent a majority of her detention repotting plants and fertilizing them, but she was exhausted and she still had to go and train with Nova today.
