Chapter 41 - New Information

The next morning came fairly quickly and Kennedy was now situated in Divination class with her hand fiddling anxiously with her necklace that had it's new blue hue to it against the fingers on each hand sprouting from the F and G on the back of the hands.

She was slightly worried about this blue that had suddenly attached itself to her necklace so she figured she would later go to the library with Leighton to see if they could find out about anything with the necklace but she will have to wait and see.

Kennedy was sat at a table with Maisie, Lee, Benny and Leighton in the front of the class when Professor Trelawney came stumbling through her office door to the center of the room.

"Welcome, my children." She hummed with her hands clasped together while she was slightly hunched over.

Kennedy always quite enjoyed having Trelawney as a teacher since she admired how she always was okay with how she saw herself and never let the people around her change her or make he feel bad about what she does for a living.

In fact Kennedy hoped to one day be similar to Trelawney and to ignore what the world claimed of her.

"In this room, you shall explore the noble art of Divination. In this room, you shall discover if you possess the Sight." She continued while Benny wiggled his fingers toward Kennedy while he mumbled a spooky 'Ooh' sound toward her, though Maisie smacked his hands away causing him to yelp.

"Are you alright Mr. Trank?" The professor asked as she appeared next to him out of nowhere causing the group to jump ever so slightly which led to most of the class going into a fit of giggles.

"Uh- yes professor..." Benny mumbled with his cheeks flaring a dull red though he was slightly scared how she knew his name when he hadn't introduce himself to her before.

Lee and Kennedy chuckled to one another as they watched Benny who sent a glare there way before he turned his attention back to the professor.

"Professor Trelawney, fantastic to meet you." She state as she turned toward the rest of the class. Together we shall cast ourselves into the future. This term, we'll focus on Tasseomancy, the art of reading tea leaves."

"The truth lies buried like a sentence deep within a book, waiting to be read. But first, you must broaden your minds. First, you must look beyond." She continued on.

Kennedy felt a nudge in her side and Maisie looked to her with bright sparkly eyes.

"Are you excited for this class or what?" She squealed slightly which made her friends look at her with amused smiles poking at there lips.

"You? Excited for a class?" Leighton chirped with a smirk on his face.

"Never heard that one before." Lee added as he high fived Leighton subtly under the table.

Maisie looked to them with a glare, though a small smile hint at her lips which made Benny roll his eyes.

"What even if your friendship?" He mumbled. "One second you and Leighton want to tare each other apart and the next your two peas in a pod."

Leighton and Maisie laughed as the teacher continued to instruct them throughout the class. They had been told to make a mixture of whatever herbs sounded good to them where they would then seep them in there water. Most of the class was really them just drinking there tea and waiting for each other to finish so they could start studying each others cups.

Once everyone at there table had finished there nasty cups of tea they all were about to switch around there cups when Trelawney came to there table with a small smile grazing her lips as she reached for Maisie's cup with her shaky hand.
