Kennedy's friends smiled and silently sighed in relief that there good friend had finally managed to come to her senses and figure out which boy she had genuiney been infatuated with this entire time. It was truly painful to see how in love with Kennedy the twins were while Kennedy laughed along with the 'jokes' blissfully unaware.

So hearing her admit she had feelings for George was a huge weight off of everyone's shoulders, including Kennedy herself. Though as everything seemed to happen with Kennedy, when one thing was taken away, another was added.

Now that she knew she was head over heels for George, a new weight was added.

Finding a way to tell Fred.

"So, what's the next step then?" Katie asked the girl who has a small smile on her face, only for it to be wiped away with the question she was hoping to avoid.

"Well she obviously has to tell Fred." Leighton comment with a blaze of passion firing in his eyes. "He needs to hear it from her, because if he hears from someone else, that will hurt much more."

Maisie snort as this before turning to the boy.

"George deserves to know first! For crying out loud the boy has been waiting since first year to hear those words come out of Kennedy's mouth, don't make him wait any longer." She point out causing Kennedy to nod some.

Although Leighton seemed to hate that idea.

"Well of course you would say that seeing as though that's what happened to you."

"Excuse you?" Maisie mumbled and Cedric suddenly grew rather serious as well.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He said.

Leighton sighed as Kennedy looked to him with an expression he could read as 'watch it'.

"I just- not everyone gets the happy end of things, okay? I've been in Fred's spot before and it's no good. Don't hide it from him because either way he's going to hurt. That's the hard truth. Just make sure to pick the way that will hurt him less." The boy said thoughtfully before casting one last glance to the girl as he called the boys with him while leaving the room.

Benny and Gabrielle shared a look before giving Kennedy a reassuring hug as they stood to leave after their passive aggressive friend.

"Good luck, Kennedy. I'm sure everything will play out in the end." Benny cheered with a bright smile.

"You got this, shorty." Gabrielle laughed before ruffling Kennedy's hair who smacked his hand away, but nonetheless returned the smile a they left the room.

Thus, leaving Maisie, Cedric, and Katie in the room with Kennedy.

"He's got a good point." Kennedy mumbled.

"Who?" Maisie asked.

"Leighton." She said while shifting her position on her bed some. "I know no matter what I do Fred is going to end up hurting. Seeing me would hurt, and on top of that if me and George get together that would only worsen it. I need to make it as gentle as possible."

"But how?" Katie mumbled. "I have no idea's. I haven't ever had to let the boy I fancies brother down who also fancied me."

"Any idea's over there?" Kennedy asked Cedric and Maisie, though while Cedric shook his head no, Maisie was unresponsive as she glared to the floor.

"Maisie?"

The girl hummed in response while looking to Kennedy who glanced to Cedric. The boy merely shrugged some, having no clue why his girlfriend got into such a glum mood all of the sudden. In fact both he and Kennedy thought she would be a bit more aggressive considering what Leighton had said, but she remained stoic.
