Chapter 34 - Temporary Living Arrangements

The twins came tumbling toward her so fast that Kennedy had barely had time to open her arms to return the hug of the boy's. They both began to speak nonsense to her that she could not understand from where both of there faces had been pushed into opposite sides of her neck.

Kennedy hadn't even been gone for more then a week and a half and she was already feeling all sorts of relief now that she had been brought back into the arms of her best friends. With a few giggles and complaints that Fred was squeezing her ribs to hard she finally was able to pull away only to see that there hair seemed to have grown a bit.

Now there flaming locks of orange hair went just above there eyebrows and they even seemed to grow quite a bit which surprised Kennedy a lot since it hadn't even been a month since she last saw them.

"Do you two every stop growing?" She asked with shock written on her face since she had now reached roughly up to there collarbones.

"Nope!" They respond with cheeky smiles as they swung lazy arms over her shoulders.

With a wide smile on her face Kennedy's tired facial features gazed around the room to find Ron and Ginny smiling at her.

"Hi Kennedy!" Ginny waved shyly which made Kennedy smile and wave back.

"Hey Ronald, got a girlfriend yet?" She joked to the boy who's smile instantly flattened into one of disgust.

"No bloody way." He gagged which made Kennedy's eyes roll to the point where she saw stars. With a small smile Kennedy whispered to the twins so only they could hear.

"Give it another year. I bet he'll finally realize he's in love with Hermione."

She got no response other then the shaking of the sides pressed against hers from what she assumed was laughter.

"Kennedy Ray Deadlock, what are you doing here? You look awful!" Molly shout as she rushed over to Kennedy with a small brush that she began to rake over every inch of Kennedy's sand and dirt covered body.

"Ray? Mom Kennedy doesn't have a middle name." Ron point out which made Molly send a glare his way.

"She does now!" Molly respond.

"Right about that.." Kennedy sighed as the twins shooed there mother away from Kennedy, though another presence behind Bill made Kennedy's mouth drop.

"I reckon she found Charlie, don't you think?" George snickered from beside Fred as they watched Kennedy rush straight towards Charlie who was chuckling with his arms wide open in preparation for impact.

As Kennedy's body crashed into Charlie he groaned slightly at speed she had ran into him, causing him to stumble backward ever so slightly.

"Charlie! You're back from Romania! How's Stinger? How about Ledclaw? Oh! And what about-" Kennedy began to question the boy as she pulled away from the hug only to get tugged by the back of her shirt collar directly into a seat.

"That can wait just a moment! Sit, sit! When was the last time you ate, dear?" Molly asked from where she stood behind Kennedy that now sat in a chair as she rubbed the base of her neck.

"Sheesh Molly, I think I underestimated how strong you are." Kennedy mumbled as she massaged her throat.

"Trust me, you try having seven kid's and see how strong you get after trying to keep there fights to a minimum of three stitches each." She mumbled as she rummaged through Bill's fridge for some sandwich meat and bread.

This caused Kennedy to grimace some at the thought of pushing out seven small bodies.

"No offense to Kennedy, but I don't think she could birth more then four, maybe five." Bill said which made Ron slap his hands over his ears.
