After the whole entering the Triwizard Tournament chaos Kennedy and Gabrielle were the nominated two to slowly walk Fred and George off to the Hospital Wing so Madam Pomfrey could whip together an anti aging potion of some sort to bring Kennedy's boys back to there previous handsome forms.
Key word being slowly.
Normally there walking from the great hall to the hospital wing would take fifteen minutes top, but with the boys complaining about there swollen kankles the entire time it took about forty-five.
Thankfully once they were there the potions was fairly easy to make so they were back to there rambunctious selves fairly quickly. And as much as Kennedy hates to admit it, she missed there sluggish movements as eighty year old men.
And although she preferred there younger selves, having a moment to breath without them causing utter chaos was rather nice.
Outside of her earlier activities Kenned was sitting with Maisie in there old dorm packing up her belongings.
"Honestly, I am so happy you actually wanted to come move into my dorm. I'd lose my mind if you didn't say yes." Kennedy state with a small laugh while she folded the last few of Maisie's clothes that she set into the girls trunk.
"Why wouldn't I have? I mean come of Kennedy, not only would I get to see my best friend far more often then I do now, I would also get a giant ass room with a far nicer bathroom on top of the fact that the view is actually breathtaking." Maisie state as she puller her sheets from her bed.
"Oh, so I'm not the only reason?"
"Nope, but believe me when I say your the second best reason."
"What? Why not the first?" Kennedy asked with a smile.
"Three words Kennedy... unlimited shelf space."
"Oh Merlin, Maisie." Kennedy stated while laughing.
"What?! I have so many books that my parents can mail from home that I now can move to our new room. It's actually perfect." Maisie defend while plopping her massive pile of sheets into Kennedy's arms.
"Hey- I'm not carrying your sheets to! I offered to take your trunk not literally everything you are moving over. Why can't you carry all this?" Kennedy asked with furrowed brows as she pat down the fluffy sheets blocking her view of her best friend.
"Because I have more important and delicate things to carry."
"Like what?"
"My books. Duh."
"Oh- this was a terrible mistake.
"That it was."
============
Later that night Kennedy and Maisie were in there room while Maisie fawned over her half of the room and ranted to herself about all the different ways she could decorate her side. Kennedy was smiling at the energetic side of her friend that wasn't often shown.
She loved seeing Maisie in her true colors and being able to watch her organize her books by color and alphabetical order by both authors and title was a rather amusing sight to see.
While her friend continued to bicker to herself about whether one poetry book should go in front of, beside or in-between two other books Kennedy remained on the balcony sitting on the rail as she watched the sun set.
