A loud ringing in Kennedy's ear woke her up from the floor she was sleeping on beside Maisie's bed. With a grunt escaped the tired girls mouth as she tore the blanket off from over her head. With her head shifting slightly as her eyes squint a shriek left her mouth when a foot suddenly pushed her head down.

Maisie suddenly screamed resulting in Kennedy being startled and wide awake. Together the two scoot as far away from one another as they possibly could with Maisie falling off her bed in the process.

The alarm continued to ring in the background and soon enough the sound of frantic stomping was heard from beyond the door into Maisie's room. The two screamed a little longer before they settled into loud gasps while the door to their shared room burst open suddenly with a soapy and wet Leighton holding a pan in hand while the other held a towel loosely around his waist.

His face held nothing but panic as his eyes traced the room looking for any signs of danger that the girls could have been in. Though when his heart started to settle as no danger was found he glanced to Kennedy and Maisie who had been staring wide eyed directly at his chest.

That just so happened to be far more ripped then they had ever thought possible for a man of Leightons stature.

Immediately his cheeks flushed and he hid behind the door poking his head through the crack with a glare on his face.

"What the hell are you two doing yelling at... six-thirty in the morning?!" Leighton yelled with aggravation clear in his tone. "I thought the Ministry had gotten in and was trying to detain Kennedy or something."

This snapped Maisie's wide eyed stare and her attention was snagged by what he said, causing a snort to leave her mouth.

"And what were you going to do with a pan? Huh?" Maisie laughed while Kennedy looked absolutely flabbergast at the time.

"Six-thirty?! Who in their right mind wakes up this early willingly?"

Leighton rolled his eyes at both of the girls sentences and tied the towel far tighter to his waist so it wouldn't fall.

"People who have jobs to attend to. Maisie, would you turn of that damn alarm, please?" Leighton groaned impatiently.

"Jobs? Already?" Kennedy asked as she watched Maisie slap her hand down onto the alarm, silencing it of it's desperate cried for attention.

"Yeah, it's what adults do." Maisie hummed with clear annoyance in her voice.

"Wait-" Kennedy mumbled while running a tired hand down her face. "What do you two even do?"

Maisie hopped from her bed and wandered over to her dresser to search for some clothes while Leighton walked down the hall to put on some clothes.

"Well I currently am working a temporary job as a book keeper for the Daily Prophet until I can find an opening to work in the town book store where I'll shelve books and even be able to interview authors that come in to sell their books." Maisie explained causing Kennedy to smile lightly.

"That sounds about right. That also sounds like the only thing that could possibly excite you enough to get you out of bed this early." Kennedy chuckled while ruffling her hair slightly.

"Correction, it is the only thing that could get me out of bed this early." Maisie said proudly while Leighton knocked on the door slightly before entering, now dressed in black dress pants, a white long sleeve, black blazer and black shoes.

"Woah! Where are you off to looking all dandy like that?" Kennedy chuckled as she wiggled her finger in a circle to get the man to give her a spin.
