Derek and I were still watching this baby. It's 2am. She's been doing really good. Her stats have gone up and she was fast asleep. I went over to her and took her out of the incubator. I put her in her little bassinet. I checked her breath sounds. They were good. I turned around and saw Derek asleep in the chair. I laughed slightly. I started feeling a cramp in my stomach. I held it and it went away. I went to go to her chart and the pain got worse. I fell to the floor holding my stomach.
"Derek" I whispered not wanting to wake the baby up
"Derekkkkk" I winced
"Ahhhh" I whispered on the ground
"Mer what's wrong" he said running over to me
"I- I don't know the baby" I said wincing
"Mer" he said
He ran out of the room.
"We need a wheelchair in here stat" I heard him say
Nurses came in with a wheelchair. Derek and some of the nurses helped me. I sat in it.
"You guys stay here. I'll come back in a second" Derek said to the nurses
He took me into a private OB room. I laid on the patient bed and heard the machine turn on.
"Mer I'm not that good at this" he said nervous
He lifted my shirt up a little and squirted the gel onto it. He took the wand and spread the gel out. He started looking for the baby.
"Oh wow" he said
"Derek what you can't say something like that" I said
"This baby is bigger than I thought" he smiled
"I'm almost positive that this baby is just kicking" I laughed
"You're about 10 weeks" he smiled
"2 months" I questioned
"Yes" he smiled
I smiled and he wiped the gel off of me. I pulled my shirt down and got off the bed. We went to the baby's room and the nurses left when we walked in. We watched her for 2 more hours until Dr. Montgomery walked in.
"Dr. Grey" she questioned
I turned around
"You can go home" she smiled
"Ok" I nodded with a smile
"Yeah I'm leaving too" Derek said
"No I need to talk to you about the next X-rays" I heard her say
I kept walking. I was a little jealous, but I trust him. I went to my car and drove home. I went straight up to my room and went to sleep. I worked too much hours, so that means I have to take a break. I woke up to someone getting in my bed.
"Derek" I questioned
"How'd you get in" i asked
"Izzie let me in" he whispered
"Mmhm" I said falling back to sleep
I woke up later and checked my phone.
12pm
I groaned and put my phone down on the nightstand. I looked over and saw Derek face down in a pillow. He was holding it. He had his shirt off and I leaned down to kiss his back. I got up and went to the bathroom. I decided to have a little bit of a spa day. I filled the bath tub up with water and bubbles. I went downstairs and sliced two slices of cucumbers. I went back upstairs to the bathroom. I shut the door and lit candles. I turned the lights off. I undressed and got into the bathtub. I put a mud mask on and the two slices of cucumbers on my eyes. I relaxed and turned on some calming music on Bluetooth. I heard the door open.
"Do you need someone to join" he said
"Yes please" I yawned
I felt my cucumber come off my eye. He leaned down and ate my cucumber
"Heyyy" I said
"You'll have plenty cucumbers it's fine" he whispered
He went over to my other one and ate it. He got into the bath behind me and held me close. He rested his chin on my shoulder.
"You kind of scare me" he said
"I do not" I said
"Yes. You look like you just came out of a swamp" he joked
"Oh shut up Kermit" I joked
"Kermit" he questioned
"The frog" I said
"Well frogs go into swamps" he smirked
"How do you guys make everything so dirty" I said relaxing my head into his chest.
"I don't know, but I do know it's really fun" he smiled
"Ughhh" I groaned
He kissed my cheek
"Ooo you taste good" he said sucking on my cheek
He put his hand on the other side of my face and held me close to him. He sucked deeper on my cheek.
"Mmm" I moaned closing my eyes
He went down to my neck and started sucking on my neck.
"Stop" i moaned softly
"Shhh you need to relax. I can help you with that" he said kissing my shoulder
"No" I joked hitting his head softly a couple times
He stood up and got out of the bath.
"Oh you might need to wash your mouth out because you aren't supposed to eat that stuff" I smiled
I stood up and washed the soap off my better.
"I will eat everything on your body" he said
I rolled my eyes and drained the bath. I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around my body. He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist. We both brushed our teeth. I walked out and got dressed. I put my hair in a messy bun. I went downstairs and made a sandwich. I started eating it and Derek came down.
"Do you wanna go on a date tonight" he asked
"Yeah that's sounds fun" I smiled taking a bite of my sandwich
"Bowling" he asked
"Yes" I said
He laughed a little. He walked over to me and put his hands on my sides. He rubbed up and down my sides and looked at my lips. I looked down at his. He kissed my lips and backed up. He quickly took a bite of my sandwich.
"Can you stop that" I laughed
"No" he smirked
