"Where did you go" he said

"Look Derek I went to the hospital and addy let me hold her" I said

"What" he said

"She let me do it for a second and that's all I wanted. I love her so much. It was so hard for me to leave her again" I cried

He walked over to me and hugged me

"Next time you go, I want to go because now I'm going to beg addy to let me hold her" he laughed

I started laughing through my cries

"I think I know a name for her" I smiled

"What is it" he smiled

"Well when I looked at her I felt like she should be named Gracie" I said

"Gracie?" He asked

"Yeah and grace for short" I smiled

"Okay Gracie it is" he smiled kissing the side of my head.

He let go and I put my pajamas. I laid in bed with him and we fell asleep together.

2 weeks later

I woke up and texted my group chat. I needed my friends. Izzie, Alex, George, and Cristina were in the group chat. I texted them to ask to spend the night tonight. Derek and I got ready to see Gracie. I got nova ready and she ran downstairs. Derek made us all some breakfast and we ate it. We left the house and went to the hospital. We went up to the nicu and saw Gracie. She was so adorable. We can finally hold her now. We gowned up and the gowns were huge on nova. We brought her in and put gloves on her. Addy picked Gracie up and put her into novas arms.

"Baby" nova smiled kissing her little head.

Addy was helping nova hold her. I put my hand under Gracie's head and bent down. Addy let go and walked out of the room. Derek put his hand on nova's back.

"Do you like your little sister" he smiled

She looked up at him

"My baby" she said looking back at Gracie.

I looked at Derek

"This isn't good" I smiled

"No. It's not" he laughed

We watched them have a little bonding moment.

"Nova can mommy hold your baby" he smiled

"Ya" she said

He grabbed Gracie and I stood up. I sat in the chair next to him and took her from him. I held her and stared into her precious little green eyes. I moved the blanket from her face and Derek sat next to me. He put nova onto his lap and we all looked at Gracie. I needed her home so bad. Addy came back in the room and went over to me.

"She can be breastfed now" she said

"Really" I smiled

"Yeah give it a shot" she said

I stood up and left with Addy. I went into a room and sat down

"Let me know how it goes" she said

"I will" I said

She left the room and I lifted my shirt up. I put Gracie to my nipple and she wouldn't latch on. I slowly opened her mouth and put her closer. She started sucking. Someone walked in and I covered the shirt over us.

"Is she doing it" Derek said shutting the door.

He walked over to me.

"Yes she is" I smiled
