I woke up the next morning and started playing with Derek's hair. He woke up and looked up at me.

"Hi Meredith" he whispered

"Hi" I smiled

He looked back down and tightened his hold around my stomach on my leg.

"I have to feed the triplets" I smiled

"Ugh okay" He whispered letting go of me.

I got up and left the room. I went into the triplets room and pumped. I fed them and changed them. I went to check on the girls, they were all asleep. I went into Derek and I's room. I walked back to the bed and he opened the blankets

"I'm cold and I don't feel good" he whispered

"You're sick?" I asked

"I think so" he said

I laid next to him and he laid his head onto my lap. I rubbed his back.

"Go back to sleep" I whispered

I waited until he fell asleep. I got out of bed and left the room. I went downstairs and started making breakfast for the girls. I made eggs and toast with cinnamon sugar and butter on the toast. I made some fresh orange juice and I went downstairs and went to the twins room. Their beds were next to each other. I sat on Athena's bed.

"Hi baby" I whispered moving her hair from her face

She started smiling. I put my hand on Layla's stomach through her blanket. She started waking up.

"Hi" I smiled

She kept giggling.

"Okay let's go wake your sisters up and you guys can eat some breakfast" I smiled

We got up and went to Gracie's room. I sat on her bed and woke her up. I kissed her forehead

"I let's go have some breakfast " I smiled

She yawned and stretched

"Tired" she said

"Okay well I'll bring some food up to you and you can stay in bed for a while" I smiled

I got up and went to Nova. I woke her up. We went downstairs and I made them each a plate. I ate some toast and drank some orange juice. The girls finished and went upstairs to brush their teeth. I cleaned the dishes up. I made tea and soup for Derek. I grabbed some pain pills and went upstairs with everything. I put them onto the nightstand next to him. I grabbed a thermometer and woke him up. I checked his temperature

I gave him some Tylenol and he drank the tea with him. I fed him some soup. I put the soup down

"I have a business party tonight that I have to go to" he said

"I'm not letting you go if it stays like this" I said

I got up and went to the bathroom. I put cold water on a wash cloth and came back out. I went to Derek and put it over his forehead.

4 hours later

"No you are not going" I said as he put his tie on

"I am and you can't stop me" he said

"You're literally sick" I said

"I feel fine. I took a bunch of pain pills" he said

"Whatever" I said

"Get dressed and let's go" he said

I went over to the bathroom and he left the room. I put my makeup on and did my hair. I put a red dress on and left the room. I went downstairs and the girls were on the couch. I pumped and fed the triplets. They were in their carriers next to Derek

"You are hot and Amelia should be here in about 5 minutes" he said

30 minutes later

We arrived at the party and walked in. It was a very nice venue. Derek left me to go talk to a bunch of people, I let him know that it was okay.I went to the bar and started drinking. I ordered a new drink called 'death wish' she I ordered it. It's a bunch of tequila, lime, fruits, and coconut milk mixed into a smoothie. It wasn't really a death wish, but it's supposed to be really sweet and good. The bartender handed it to me and I started drinking it through a straw. I turned around in my seat and crossed my legs. I watched Derek talking to more people. He looked over and saw me. I waved at him and he smiled at me. He said something to the 2 guys and started walking over to me.

"Hey" I smiled

"How's my wife doing" he smiled grabbing my drink

1 hour later

Derek and I were really tipsy from these drinks. He started getting handsy and people started coming up to us and talking to Derek. He grabbed my hand

He brought us to a hallway with no one and picked me up. He started kissing my lips.
