They took me downstairs. I couldn't think of anything. My mind was blank. They took me to the locker rooms and turned a shower on. They walked me back and put me under the water. It was pretty cold. Cristina started tilting my head to get the blood off my neck.
"Take care of her" Derek said walking out of the shower
He left. Izzie came in and saw us. She helped Cristina wash my face. I had a big cut on my head, it stung. I winced a little. They took my shredded shirt and pants off. Along with my bra and panties. Cristina was washing shampoo through my hair. Izzie was washing everything off my body. I leaned back against Cristina's hands. I finally finished this little shower that I took. Izzie grabbed a towel. Cristina turned the water off. She wrapped me in a towel. Izzie left. I sat on a little bench that was in the middle of the room. Cristina put her hand on the cut that was on my forehead. I winced.
"We're going to get you an X-ray just to be sure" she said
Izzie came back and brought fresh clothes. Cristina wrapped my hair up in a towel after she helped me dry myself. I put the clothes on and walked out of the room. I took the towel off after I dried my hair a little bit. We went to the X-ray room and quickly got my head scanned. I went into a patients room and laid on the exam table. We were waiting for the X-ray. Derek walked into the room holding nova.
"Have you guys gotten it yet" he asked Izzie and Cristina
"Not yet" Izzie said
Derek went over by me and sat in the chair next to me. Nova was on his lap. He took my hand.
"I'm going to clean it" he said
He got up and handed Nova to Izzie. He went over to me and grabbed alcohol wipes. He started cleaning my cut. I winced at the feeling. He threw the wipes away and Bailey walked in.
"Good news Grey, nothings damaged" she said
I nodded.
"I'm discharging you, but here's some antibiotics" she said handing me a bottle
I took it and she left. Derek, Izzie, and Cristina helped me get out of the hospital.
"Thanks you guys, could you come over tomorrow with George and Alex" he asked
"Oh ya of course" Izzie said
"I was planning on it" Cristina said
I got into the car and Derek put nova into her car seat. He went into the front seat and started driving.
"Hey do you want to talk" he asked
"No" I said
"Well whenever you feel like it let me know" he asked
"What happened to mean you?" I smiled looking at him
"What can I say, I'm a family man now" he laughed
"Mmm sure" I said rolling my eyes
We got home and I got out of the car. Derek grabbed Nova and he helped me to the front door. I winced a little
"What hurts" he asked unlocking the front door
"My leg. When I fell back my whole body landed hard on that floor" I said
He helped me in. He hand me Nova and I took her. He picked me up.
"Put me down" I laughed
"I'm taking you upstairs" he smirked
He carried me up the steps and let me down right in front of our room. He took Nova and brought her into her room. I walked into my room and laid down on the bed. This took every energy that I've had and just wiped it away. I fell asleep.
"Mer. Mer wake up" he said
"Mmm" I said groggily
"Don't sleep for awhile. You might have a concussion" he said
"I'm tireddd" I groaned
"I know you are, but just wait about another hour" he said
"What do you want to do" I asked
"Do you want to watch a scary movie" he asked
"Sure" I said
He grabbed the remote and turned on The Conjuring. He went downstairs and grabbed snacks. He came back into the room and brought chips, drinks,popcorn, and candy
"I love this dinner" I laughed as he started eating a piece of popcorn
"Me too" he laughed laying next to me
We kept watching the movie. We finally finished it.
"Finally" I said burying my head into his chest
He wrapped his arm around me. I fell asleep. I woke up the next morning. I was exhausted. Derek was still asleep, so I went back to sleep. I woke up a couple hours later. Derek was gone. I turned over to face the ceiling. My whole body hurts. I took my antibiotics for my cuts. I grabbed some painkillers and took them. Derek came in with Nova.
"She's hungry" he said
I started smiling. He handed her to me and I lifted my shirt up. She latched on.
"Are we okay?" He asked
"Yeah what do you mean?" I asked confused
"I don't know. It just seems like we don't talk about stuff that much" he said sitting on the edge of the bed.
I took his hand and held it.
"Look at me. We do communicate and if we don't we do it in a lot of ways" I smirked
He started smirking
"I've been keeping some stuff from you" he said
"What is it" I asked
I winced as Nova started sucking hard on me.
"I- um" he said stuttering
"I have another daughter and a son" he said
I looked shocked.
"What" I said seeing if I heard him right
"I donated my sperm a couple years ago to this lesbian couple because they really wanted kids, so they both used my sperm" he said sighing
"I'm sorry that I never told you, but it's been eating me up. I visit them every year and it's getting closer to Halloween when I visit them" he said
Nova started falling asleep. I wasn't prepared for all of this to be thrown at me.
"Well I'm glad that you gave these people a chance of having a family" I said tearing up
"I'm sorry again for not telling you. I just didn't know how to say it" he said
"Thanks for telling me" I whispered
"Are you mad?" He asked
"No I can't be. You gave them something amazing" I whispered
"Thank you" he said leaning in and hugging me
Nova was between us.
"So we have 3 kids" I laughed looking down at nova
"I guess we do" he smiled pecking my lips
