Chapter 59

I woke up and took in the warmth of him. His chin was resting on my cheek. I started smelling something. It was amazing. I started moving.

"Mmm where are you going" he mumbled

"Do you smell that" I asked

"Yeah are those donuts" he asked

Ooo I really wanted them

"I don't know. Let me check" I said

He let go of me and I got out of bed. I walked out of the room and went to the kitchen. Arizona and Callie were cooking breakfast. This is what this baby wanted. I wanted to eat all of those donuts. I kept staring at them

"Help yourself" arizona smiled handing me a plate.

I put 2 donuts, a chocolate croissant, and an omelet onto the plate. I went to the table and started eating the donut.

"Wow this is amazing" I said

"Glad you like it" Callie said

"Thank you for making all of this" I said

"Yeah no problem" she said

I finished my food and went to the bathroom. I washed my hands. I went into Nova's room. She was still sleeping. I walked over to her and kissed her head. I walked back into our bedroom and Derek just turned the bathroom light off. He walked out.

"Hey um-" he said pausing

"So what was it" He asked

"Was what" I asked

"That smell" he asked

"Oh Arizona and Callie made breakfast" I said

He walked past me and left the room. I got ready for today.

7 hours later

We were all spending time together at the movies. We watched Cruella. It was pretty good. We went bowling with our family and friends. About 3 hours later, we all went our separate ways. They were all supposed to leave tomorrow morning. We said goodbye to everyone. Derek and I drove to the apartment with Nova. We brought her upstairs and put her to bed. I was exhausted. I laid in my bed and immediately fell asleep.

2 days later

Derek's family left last night and my friends left with them because their flight got delayed. I made an appointment with OB for today to make sure everything was okay, for now. I really hope I can give him this. Derek was doing research in the lab at the hospital. I dropped Nova off at daycare. I walked into the hospital and went to OB. I went into the waiting room.

"Dr. Grey" a nurse said

I got up and walked with her to the room.

"I'm going to take your blood pressure" she said wrapping my arm.

I sat on the exam table and she started pumping the wrap. She finished and wrote into my chart

"Ok the doctor should be here in just a second" she said

"Thank you" I said

She left and I laid flat onto the exam table. I waited for the doctor. She finally came in.

"Hi Dr. Grey" she said

"Hey Dr. Smith" I said

"Okay so you've been through this before. Correct" she said

"Yes" I said

She grabbed the gel.

"This is going to be cold" she said
