Chapter 143

I got the girls ready for the day and made them breakfast. Derek came down and kissed all the girls heads. He walked over to me and kissed my head as he poured himself a cup of coffee.

"Good morning Meredith" he smiled

"You're in a really good mood" I smiled

"Feeling better than ever" he said

"Well I have to go to work soon. Are you watching the kids?" I asked

"Yes and I'm taking them to the park in my new car" he smiled

"Fun" I laughed

He finished his coffee and walked in front of me.

"We have a date for when you get home" he said raising his eyebrows

"A date?" I asked

"Mmhm so be there. 8pm sharp" he smiled

"I will" I laughed

I walked over to the kids and told them good bye. I left Derek some breast milk for the triplets. 

"Bye Derek" I smiled

"Bye. We're going to have a bunch of fun today" he smiled to the kids

I kept smiling at them. I left and got into my new Porsche. I turned it on and the engine was so loud. I kept smiling. Like my sugar daddy really got me a brand new, fast car and it's amazing. I started driving to the hospital. I started going fast. Derek and I should race each other soon. That would be really fun. I got to the hospital and walked in. I changed into scrubs and went to my office. I walked in and started looking at surgeries for today.

2 hours later

I went into surgery. I started cutting into this woman's bone. She's a hard case but I'm going to try it. I'm making an intern help me put the syringe in to help her diabetes. We went almost exactly perfect into her bone. We finished. She was still awake on the table, but she was numb

"Did you feel it" I asked

"No" she said

"See. I told you it wouldn't be so bad" I smiled

"Thanks Dr. Grey" she said

"Anytime" I smiled

I was really close with this patient. Kate, she's very nice and our kids are the same age. I scrubbed out and went back to my office. It was almost 8. I grabbed my paperwork and put it into my purse. I changed into my regular clothes. I left the hospital and drove home. The lights were off. I started getting a phone call and answered it.

"Hello" I asked

"Come to the backyard" he said hanging up

I turned my car off and kept smiling. I walked to the backyard and unlocked the gate. I shut it and walked over to him. Slow music was playing and there was a little table set up. It had a candle on it and the pool was lit up. There were 2 silver plates with tops on them that were sitting on the table. Derek was wearing a black and white suit. He pulled a chair out for me and I walked over to him. I sat down and he pushed it back in. He took the top off of the food.

"Your favorite" he smiled

It was spaghetti

"Thanks Derek" I smiled

"Anything for you" he smiled

"The kids have eaten dinner and I just put them to bed. So it's parents time right now" he said pouring me a glass of wine.

I took a sip and moaned at the taste.

"Maybe I'll get lucky" he smiled taking a sip of his wine
