I took the test and we waited about 3 minutes. My timer went off. I looked at it.

Pregnant

He sighed and left the room. He sat down onto the bed as I watched him. I threw the test away and washed my hands. I left the room and walked in front of him. He grabbed my hand and looked up at me

"I have an appointment with Arizona in 2 hours" I said

2 hours later

We were at my appointment and the kids were with Amelia at her house. A nurse took my blood. I was sitting on the table and Arizona came in.

"Ok so you have a really high level of estrogen which means that you're going through menopause" she said

"Already" I sighed

"Yes. It's a big step for a 44 year old" she said

"So I'm not pregnant" I asked

"No" she said

I sighed in relief. Even there I kind of wanted one, but adoption is always an option.

"Okay thank you" I said

"Are you still coming tonight" Derek asked

"Yes and the twins don't have school tomorrow so they're coming" she smiled

"Great" Derek smiled

"Okay well I have your discharge papers and you can get out of here whenever" she smiled

"Thanks" I said

"Do you guys have any questions" she asked

"No" I said

"No" Derek said

"Okay" she said leaving the room

I got off of the table and Derek held my hand. We left the hospital and got into the car. We picked the kids up and brought them back home.

3 hours later
