5 days later
Derek comes back tomorrow. I took the kids out for lunch with Amelia and Lexie. We started eating our sandwiches and they started talking about surgeries.
"Ughhh I want a surgery so bad" I sighed
They started laughing
"You should get some soon" Amelia said
"Hopefully. I'm not even allowed back to work yet since I had the triplets like 3 weeks ago" I said
"Has it already been 3 weeks" Lexie smiled
"Yeah" I said looking beside me at the triplets
1 hour later
We were driving to my house after lunch and after the park. The kids were tired. We brought them upstairs and put them down for their naps. We went downstairs and started talking
"Hey Mer have you talked to Derek. He won't answer my calls" Amelia said
I started eating a peanut and I laughed
"Yeah he always calls me" I smiled
"Are you serious" she said taking her phone out
"Yeah" I said
She called him and put it on speaker. It went to voicemail. Lexie and I started laughing. I grabbed my phone and called him.
"Hi Mer" he said answering it
We all started laughing.
"Ohhh is Amy with you" he asked
Amelia took the phone from my hands
"Why aren't you answering any one of my calls" she asked
"I've been busy" he said
"You just answered her" she said
"Well yeah. She's my wife" he said
"And I'm your sister. Sister's come first, especially me Derek" she said
"Amy I'll be back tomorrow and we can hang out. Okay" he said
"Okay" she said
"Take me off speaker" he said
She took him off and put the phone next to his ear
"Done" she said
A couple seconds later she started laughing
"Yeah. We can do that" she laughed
"Mmhm. Okay bye" she said hanging the phone up
She gave me my phone back
"I'm going to go" she said
"Yeah me too" Lexie said
"Alright. Are we still on for Friday" I asked
"Wouldn't miss it" Lexie said
"Me either" Amelia said
They left and I started eating some chips. I finished and got a phone call. I thought it was Derek until I looked at the caller ID

"Get down to LA right now Meredith it's about a miracle. Come here immediately. I have a private jet coming in 2 hours for you. Pack some bags" she said hanging up the phone
I haven't spoken to her in forever. Why did she want me to come? I didn't question. I went upstairs and went into the girls rooms. I packed bags for them and went into the triplets room. I fed, changed, and packed a bag for them. I put them in their carriers and brought them downstairs. I went back upstairs and quickly packed a bag. I brought all of the bags downstairs and left the house. I put them into the car and went back inside
