Meredith's POV
I got up and got the kids ready. Derek was sleeping and I brought the triplets into our room. I put them onto the bed and they started jumping around. The girls came in.
"Get daddy" I said
All the kids jumped onto him
"Ooooo" he said waking up
He took the kids off of him and sat up
"Did your mommy put you up to this" he smiled
"Yesss" the girls said
He grabbed my arm and pulled me onto him. They all started tickling me
"Ahhhh stop" I laughed
They kept tickling me and finally stopped. I laid next to him and the kids were sitting on top of us. We all kept laughing. Derek and I looked at each other.
"Do you have work today?" I asked
"No I took today off because of my mom" he said
"Oh crap your moms coming" I said
"You forgot?" He smiled
"Yes I did. I don't know how" I said
"Well do you have work because if you want I can give you a day" he said
"No I don't have it today" I said
"Great" he smiled
"Not great because I'm not ready to see your mom" I said
"She has something to talk to us about" he said
"I know" I sighed
2 hours later
We just got home from the park and the grocery store. Derek put the kids down for their naps. I was sorting the ingredients for today. He came down and helped me with it.
"Amelia, Lexie, and Mark are coming" he said
"Oh that's great" I smiled looking at him
He didn't smile
"Who else" I asked
"My other sisters and their kids" he said
"That's so many kids and sisters" I said
"I know, but they're staying at a hotel which is good, but we have to deal with a bunch of kids and annoying sisters today" he said
"Well at least we have our pool" I said
"Me too" he said
He grabbed the ham and started glazing it.
"This is going to take about 3 hours so we have a bunch of time" he said cutting potatoes and green beans
"Good" I said
He put everything in a pot and started cooking it
"We should cook the rest of the stuff about an hour before the hams done" he said
"Okay" I said
We cut everything up and got it all ready.
"Everyone's coming in about 3 hours so it's perfect timing. We don't have to leave. I sent my friend to get them" he said
"Okay" I nodded
He walked behind me and started kissing my neck as I washed my hands. He already washed his and put his hands onto my waist.
