3 hours later

I just fed the triplets. I realized that I don't have what Nova has. I'm just very exhausted. I need a break. I can't take this. Derek left to get milk 2 hours ago. I bet he fell asleep. That bitch. Lexie and Mark left with Layton last night. They're coming back tomorrow. My hair was a mess and I had my robe on. These kids are draining me and Derek isn't helping. When he gets home I'm going to- I thought until I heard him unlock the door. He walked in and shut it. He turned around and looked at me.

"Sorry I might've fell asleep in the- parking lot" he said

"Hmmm" I said tapping my foot and crossing my arms

"I'm taking a shower, now watch the kids" I said angrily

I went upstairs and Cristina called me. I turned the shower on and sat down on the floor.

"Hey Cristina" I said

"Hey Mer so I just got this case and Maggie just took it from me" she said

"He fell asleep in the parking lot" I said

"She said that she was going to be a consult, but she took it" she said

I felt myself drifting away and I laid down onto the ground.

"Mer" I heard

"Mer" she said

"Oh big help" she said and I fell right to sleep

I woke up to 2 crying babies. I sat up and Derek was holding the kids in his arms.

"They're hungry and my nipples are no use to them" he said patting their backs.

I was half awake. I tried to wipe my eyes and got up. The bathroom was steamy. I walked over to him and took the girls. I untied my robe and fed them right in front of him. I didn't even care. I was so exhausted and I needed this shower. He turned around to not watch me. I finished feeding them and fed Mason. I went back into the bathroom and went into the shower. I took a shower and got out. I did everything and dried off. I walked out of the bathroom and put sweat pants on and a t shirt. I went to the bed and fell asleep. I woke up a little later and my boobs were so sore. I left the room and went downstairs.

"How was your sleep" he said

"Terrible" I said

The triplets were in their carriers on the counter. The girls were playing and watching tv.

"Here's some spaghetti" he said handing me a bowl

"Did they eat some" I smiled

"Yes and don't worry. I cleaned them up and everything" he smiled

"Mmmhm" I smiled eating the spaghetti.

I grabbed some water and started drinking it. I finished eating and he cleaned the bowl. He leaned down and kissed my lips.

"I really need sex" he whispered

"I don't" I smiled

"Well whatever, but I'll wait because I know the tension that I'll have, not doing it for awhile, will be amazing" he smiled

"It better be, but I'm not ready to do it again" I said

"That's fine" he said

"Emma and Caleb are going to come here soon to meet their siblings" he said

"Can we wait a little while, like a week" I said

"Yeah. Are you alright" he asked

"I just- I" I said grabbing the counter
