Chapter 116

1 hour later

We were still laying in bed. Derek got up and got dressed. He packed our bags. He brought them to the car and I sat up. I read my back and covered myself with my blanket wrapped around me. Derek came back into the room and I looked over at him.

"Everything's in the car" he said passing me some clothes

"Can we just lay here for a while, together" I said putting my book down onto the nightstand.

He started smiling and got onto the bed. He rolled on top of me and smiled. He started pecking my lips

"You know what" he said

"What" I asked

"We should renew our vows" he said

"Seriously?" I asked

"Yeah it's been like 3 years since we've been married" he said

"Wow. Times been flying" I smiled

"It has. Especially since the triplets" he smiled

We laid here for a little bit and I got up. I changed into my clothes. Derek got up and we left the room. We left the hotel and picked the kids up from Lexie's. We brought them home and changed them. We put them down for their naps and went downstairs

3 hours later

We made some soup. It was snowing outside. Nova and Gracie came down because they wanted to play outside. I pumped and Derek started dressing Nova. He bent down and put her coat on.

"Daddy" she said holding her hands up

"Could you grab her gloves" he asked

I found the perfect opportunity

"Aw yes daddy" I said

He looked up at me and tried not to smile. He looked back at Nova and zipped her coat up. I started laughing and grabbed her gloves. I handed them to him and he put them onto her hands. I put Gracie's coat on and her gloves. We put their hats onto them and opened the door.

"Let's go have some fun" he smiled putting his coat on

The girls ran out and fell into the snow. Derek ran in and fell next to them. He grabbed Gracie and held her into the air.

"Ahhhh" he laughed moving her around

"Dada" nova said

Gracie kept laughing. He put her down and did the same thing to Nova. He grabbed a snow ball and gently through it at Gracie's face. We started laughing. Her face got red and she started crying

"Waaaa ahhhh" she cried

"Gracie. It's okay" I said walking over to her

I picked her up and wiped her face. I held her head into my chest.

"Shhhh" I said rocking her

I slapped Derek on the top of his head

"Ow" he said getting up

I stared at him to hold Gracie. He grabbed her and held her.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to" he said holding her around his waist

She wiped her eyes. He definitely meant to. I kissed her forehead.

"I'm sorry, your daddy is really mean" I whispered kissing the side of her head

She started giggling

1 hour later

We just finished playing with Nova, Gracie, Athena, and Layla. Athena and Layla came down a little later. We ate soup. We put the kids to sleep. Derek and I cleaned the house up. We went upstairs and laid in bed.
