Chapter 102

The next morning I woke up with Lexie in my bed. We both fell asleep after last night. She said she might be moving, I'm going to put a stop to it. She can't move. Derek and I were doing a newborn photoshoot with the kids today. I got up and started getting ready for that. I left the room. My boobs hurt so bad. I pumped and grabbed the 3 bottles. I went to the triplets room. Mark was laying on the floor, sleeping with Mya on his back. Layton was next to mark. Derek was sleeping in the rocking chair with his shirt off and Mason against his chest. I put the bottles down. Little Lila was sound asleep in her crib. I took the kids off of them and put them back into their cribs.

"Boys" I yelled in a whisper

"Hmmm" they both said quickly waking up

Mark rolled over and looked up at me.

"Oh crap what time is it" Derek said

"We have an hour but I need to feed them" I said grabbing the bottles

I gave one to mark and another to Derek. They both got up and we grabbed each of the babies. We started feeding them.

"Man I'm exhausted" Mark said

"Mmhm" Derek said

They finished and we changed all of them. We got them ready and put them back down. Derek left and went to get ready. I went into Gracie's room and got her ready. I got Nova ready and brought them downstairs. I made some cinnamon toast for them. They started eating it and I went upstairs. I put the babies into their carriers. I brought them downstairs and put them on the kitchen counter. I ate some toast and Derek came down. He ate some toast. He looked so hot. We finished and left. We went to the photo place and walked in. A bunch of stuff was set up. The photographer took the triplets and we got nude pics done of them. They were laying down and we could see their little butts it was so cute. There were rose pedals around them and little cotton clouds. We got a couple of those down and they were changed into blue and pink onesies. We got individual pics of each and all of them together doing a bunch of poses. Derek and I were with them. He was holding Mason and I was holding the girls. Him and Mason were in blue. The girls and I were in pink. We got a bunch of pictures taken. Gracie and Nova came in. We got a couple pics and stood up. Nova was standing in front of Derek and Gracie was in front of me. I was holding Mya and Lila in my arms. Derek held Mason close to him and I heard him whisper

"Ugh I hate all this pink" he smiled

I hit his foot with mine and he looked over at me. He started smiling.

"Look up here please" the photographer said

We looked at her and smiled. We took some family pictures and finished. We took all of the photos and got a huge photo of the family. We went home and Derek brought the triplets upstairs. Mark helped me measure the huge wall that I wanted the picture on. We hung it up next to the fireplace where everyone could see it. I wanted the kids to have something of when they were young. So when they are older we could reduplicate the picture. Derek and Lexie came down. Mark started making dinner for all of us. The girls were on the couch watching The Backyardigans. I grabbed some sparkling champagne and sat it at the table. I grabbed 4 champagne glasses and 2 sippy cups. I sat them next to the bottle. I brought the girls upstairs and put their matching pajamas on. Gracie started walking.

"Derek. DEREK" I yelled

I grabbed my phone and started recording her. Derek ran up the steps and ran into the room

"Look" I said

She's never walked this much

"My little track star" he smiled bending down

He picked her up and spun her around

"Dada" nova said

I put my phone down. Nova walked over to Derek. He put Gracie onto the ground and picked nova up. He spun her around and she wouldn't stop laughing. He put her down and looked at me

"You better send me that video" he said

"You literally wouldn't stop asking me if I didn't" I smiled

"Yup" he smiled

He picked nova back up and held her in his arms. This was a proud dad moment for him. He was so excited. I grabbed Nova's hand and we all walked downstairs.

"Guess what my little girl did" he said to Lexie and mark

"What" mark said

"She walked" he smiled looking at her.

"Oh congrats Gracie" Lexie smiled

Gracie started giggling

"Hey when you and Nova are old enough beat your dad up for me" Mark smiled fist bumping her

Nova came over to them and mark picked her up

"You want to help me cook" he asked

She shook her head. They started stirring stuff. Derek came back to me and he wouldn't let Gracie go. He was so excited. He sat on the couch and put her on his lap, facing him.

"Hey I have 2 more little girls, but you and Nova are still my babies. I will always be excited for everything you do even if your mommy doesn't think it's really exciting" he whispered putting his finger on her nose and flicking it gently.

She started giggling

"Hey I do think it's exciting" I smiled

"Sure" he said lifting her up

He lifted her shirt up and brought her stomach to his face.

"Ah bluuuooo" he said blowing into her stomach

It tickled her. She kept laughing and he kept doing it. He stopped and put her shirt back down. He bounced her legs on his thighs. She wouldn't stop giggling. She made a face

"Oh mayday mayday" he said lifting her up.

He ran to the trash can and she puked all over his shoulder and it went down his back. She got puke all over her too. I couldn't hold my laughter back. I started laughing and he turned to look at me. Lexie and mark started laughing because they saw the whole thing.

"Thanks Gracie" mark smiled

He went upstairs with her. He was mad. We kept laughing and Mark finished the food. I went upstairs and went into Gracie's room.  I went into her bathroom and Derek was in the bath with her. He looked at me and kept cleaning Gracie. I bent down and rolled my sleeves up.

"We have puke everywhere" he said

"Where are the clothes" I asked

"In a bag. I'm going to do them after we're done" he said

"Okay. Do you need any help" I asked

Gracie was playing with her little duck

"No" he said angrily

I got up and sat on the edge of the bath. He looked up at me and I smiled at him. I leaned down and put my hand on his cheek. I kissed his lips. I pulled away and we opened our eyes.

"This whole bathroom smells like puke so clean it when you're done" I said getting up

"You really are Medusa" he smiled

I turned and looked at him

"Okay McAngry" I smiled

He started smiling more and I left the room. I went downstairs and went to the table. Everyone was eating.

"How's Derek" mark asked

"He's so mad" I laughed

"Classic" mark laughed

I loved the backyardigans sooooo much oml. That moon episode was too memorable like I will never forget that😭😭😭😭
