Maya's and Carina's daughter

Part 14

It's been a year after Kate's incident. She has started working as a provee at 19 station since she was cleared in every aspect from the hospital . She just goes on easy fires and learns everything while she studies.
Her relationship with Jake keeps getting stronger. She met her parents who absolutely loved her.
Carina and Maya's pride couldn't be greater. The process she has made and the person she is becoming.
*5:45 am*
Kate was up and ready to take a morning jog with Maya before heading the station.
She walked into her moms room and realised Maya was awake struggling to leave the comfy bed. She jumped into the bed in between them.
"Morning ladies" she said
Carina hugged Kate and said "no no no, if you sporty girls want to jog before the sun is up. You go. I like to sleep like a normal person."
"You should come jog with us" laughed Maya
"You should come into the OR with me" said carina and turned around
"8 miles?" Asked Maya
"U inspired?" Asked Kate
Carina lifted her head and said to Kate "you take it easy"
"Let's start with 6 miles" smiled maya
They both headed to the beach to run and after they were both ready they headed to the station.
As they both headed in Maya headed to make some paper work and Andy came in
"There's my provee!" She said hugging Kate
"Morning Herrera" said Kate smiling
"I changed your dippers, I'm auntie Andy. Little provee" she said and squeezed her cheek
"Go make your probation where your family work. It will be fun. They said" said Kate and headed to the kitchen were everyone was
"Morning lady" said Gibson handing her coffee
"No thanks jack I don't do coffee" said Kate
"And how are you alive?" Laughed Travis
"Oh right she doesn't do breakfast" said Vic
"You what?" Asked Ben
"I do breakfast" said Kate
"Yeah, she takes a protein shake. That's a good breakfast" said Andy sarcastically
"Yeah that's not food" said Ben
Maya came in into the kitchen and sat next to Andy
"How can it be your daughter doesn't do breakfast?" Asked Dean
"I've been arguing this around for 15 years. Basically since that thing started talking. I'm not fighting anymore" said Maya lifting her hands
"Well she's a grownup in two months, so" said Dean
"She's not" said jack
"Grownup?" Said Andy
"Not in a million chance" said Vic
"Still my baby" said Maya and kissed her cheek
"Your not turning 18 in two months?" Asked Ben
"Yes I am!" Said Kate "I will, be a grownup"
"No you won't, you'll just be 18, that means nothing" said Andy and squeezed her cheek
"Still a fetus" said Vic
"That means no boys young lady" said Jack
"I'm a grownup!" Said Kate
"Aww so cute" said Vic
"I'll go clean the truck" said Kate and picked up a bucket and left
"Go baby!!" Yelled Andy
They all laughed until Andy said "gosh, I forgot she does grow up"
Maya sight and said "I still can't believe it. She's working here"

After finishing her shift Kate checked here phone as she got changed in the changing room
~Jake: hey gorgeous, I miss you. Have a collage exam in two days. The last one here. Could use some help to distract. ;)
Kate smiled and answered
~Kate: mmm, should I help you? Help you leave to NY? I'll see on that. Your place or mine? I've finished my shift now. Could use some hours for studying <3
~Jake: my place, I'm cooking ;) go firefighter <3!
Andy came looking for Kate in the changing room
"Hey! We need your help" she said as she came in and saw Kate
Kate looked at her and pulled her shirt on again as they both headed out of the changing room
As they got out they saw Jack holding a baby, looked like he was just born.
"Okay, I think I'm seeing a cord here" said jack "where's Vic?" Asked Jack "she always takes the babies"
"The rest of the team have a PD meeting" said Andy "we're here"
"Travis?" Asked Kate
"Aid car" said Andy
"I don't know what to do with this" said Jack "the cord is bleeding"
"Phone mamma! Phone carina!" Said Kate
"Yes! Yes, yes" said Andy and grabbed the phone. She explained the situation to carina and she said they'd had to clamp the cord with whatever they had there.
"Got it!" Said Kate and clamped it with a hemostatic she found.
The baby had stopped bleeding but wouldn't stop crying his lungs out dispute they had walked him for minutes.
"I've gotta go" said carina
"No no no, don't leave us!" Said Kate
"Kate he is getting hot" said Andy who was carrying the baby
"Here! Arizona is here she'll help you" said carina and handed Arizona the phone
"Hey Sweetie how are you?!" Said Arizona
"We need you!" Said Kate.
After explaining the baby situation Arizona said "who is holding the baby?"
"Andy" said Kate
"Okey Kate, where are you?" Asked Arizona
"Moms office, here is more comfy and warm" said Kate
"Yes, that's perfect. Kate you're free?" She asked
"Yes" she said
"Okey take off your shirt and put the baby on your chest" said Arizona
"What? No. You take off your shirt" said Kate to Andy
"She told you!" Said Andy
"Stop being childish! Whoever take off your shirt and lay down the baby!" Said Arizona
"You're the grownup" said Kate
"You are the provee. Sorry, station protocol" said Andy
"Kate! Shirt off." Said Arizona
"Provee rule? Nice" said Kate as she took off her shirt.
"You look so sexy!!" Mocked Andy "doesn't she?" She asked Arizona laughing
"How can firefighters be that childish?" Said Arizona "okay lay the baby down on her chest"
As soon as the baby heard Kate's heartbeat the baby fell asleep instantly
"Arizona your god" said Andy
"I know that" she said "bring the baby as soon as you can. Good luck" she said and cut the phone.
Kate just laid on the couch with the baby on her chest until she fell asleep

She woke up but with no baby, and there was a blanket on her, she turned her head and saw Maya doing paperwork
"First baby duty" said Maya
"Yea? How long ago?" Asked Kate
"20 min ago. He is at grey Sloan. You did good." Said Maya
Kate got up and threw a shirt on her and headed to Maya's desk
"I'm having dinner at Jake's" she said and looked at her watch
"Okay. That sounds nice. Tomorrow morning, training. The whole team." Said Maya
"Nice" said Kate and left the office. And texted Jake
~Kate: Got stuck on a duty. No study time, still at the station :( can you pick me up here?
~ Jake: l'll be there in a minute. I though you were dumping me ;)
~Kate: U the best <3

Kate got into Jake's car and they drove all the way to his house.
"We are all alone. My parents are in Canada visiting my grandma" said Jake
"Your sister?" Asked Kate as she sat down on the couch
"He had his boyfriends birthday" said Jake
"All alone" said Kate
Jake sat down next to her bringing her a bottle of beer and said "all alone" as she stared at her
"You've been starring. What's up?" Said Kate as she took a sip
"You look hot in that uniform" said Jake and smiled
"Do I?" Said Kate smiling at him
"That smile, that smile just kills me" said Jake and covered his eyes
"Does it Dr?" Said Kate and got closer to him kissing his neck "this helps" she said as she looked into his eyes
"It helps. Really helps" said Jake and stroke Kate's cheek
Kate kissed him deeply as she got closer and closer until their chests together.
"How much stress is that exam provoking?" Asked Kate as she kissed Jake's neck
"Quite a..." said Jake as he breathed deeply "quite a lot" he said as he placed his hands on Kate's back
"Let's bring that stress down" she said and sat on top of Jake kissing him deeply
As she kissed him his hands brought her close to him from her waist and back
Kate's hands started unbuttoning Jake's shirt and took it off. 
Jake pulled Kate t-shirt off "may I?" He said placing his hands on Kate's bra buckle
"Please" said Kate as she threw herself back again at Jake's neck
Jake took off Kate's bra and kissed her breasts deeply as she softly moaned and squeezed Jake's hair.
Kate's hands automatically directed to Jake's belt and started unbuckling in it.
Jake stood up carrying Kate with one arm with her legs around his wait and directed to his room.
He placed kate gently on the bed as they continued kissing deeply. Kate unbuckled his pants and so did Jake with Kate's.
Jake kissed Kate's stomach and kissed her panties making her moan and pull the sheets.
Jake went up again and kissed Kate's neck with his hands on her waist and breast.
Kate started pulling off her panties and Jake's boxers.
"Kate wait, wait" said Jake looking at Kate
