When a Lynx Meets a Leopard [Ash Lynx x fem reader]

~Chapter 2: 1st Encounter~

Ash POV

This woman knows me by name, although I haven't told her anything. Her accent gives away where she is from, unless she has put on another fake one, which is possible. Her body language showed no fear towards me or the environment, weird. Definitely a foreigner, but where from? (Y/n) I heard her call herself and also 'Leopard'... I've heard that before, but from where? It sounds familiar... I'll ask Shorter and the guys about it later.

"Well, it was lovely meeting you Ash Lynx." (Y/n) smiled softly as she calmly strode past, but it wasn't genuine. A baby could tell she was faking it. Without turning around, she clearly said, "I have no doubt we will meet again. Until then, goodbye Ash." ,with that, she left the alleyway silently. So silently her footsteps could not be heard. Then it clicked. Although me and (Y/n) had only been in contact for a few mere minuets, I had picked up on multiple things.
1. She could fight very well
2. She had no scent
3. Her movements were silent
All of which were qualities of a good assassin. She also had a code name, 'Leopard'. "Damn I should have shot her..." I muttered angrily to myself and kicking at some stones with my shoe. I knew that girl. I had heard that she was a silent and efficient killer, capable of taking down the rich and famous. It had been done before.

Now, I had to work out who her target was. It could possibly be the old man, Dino. He was powerful enough to be worthy of hiring such an assassin to kill him. Not that it would be easy. It depends who hired her. Hell, I could be her tar-... no, I am her target. 'I have no doubt we will meet again.' She fully intended to meet again. I'm already a dead man, so this should be entertaining. I shoved my hands into my demin jacket pockets and replaced my sunglasses, walking out of the dark alley and back to the hideout, a slight smirk tugging at my lips.

(Y/n)'s POV

"Yes, I understand. Where shall I meet this man to be taken to my new location?"
"Papa says he will come to meet you personally outside the hotel you are staying at. He will arrive at 9 o'clock sharp tomorrow morning. Do you understand?"
"Yes. Please tell Papa Dino that I look forward to making his acquaintance." 

I hung up the phone on Mrs. Heights with a sigh. Being passed around like an object was not new to me. Clients were constantly being offered money by another person to 'buy' me off them. This Papa Dino man must have offered a hell of a lot of money. Mr and Mrs Heights were going to pay me close to a million for Ash Lynx's assassination, someone clearly wanted someone dead more than the Heights did Ash. Why, I did not know. It was not my place to ask why an assassination should be asked for, I was just expected to do whatever necessary and get payed. 

Not something I enjoyed nor took pride in, but its all I've ever known. Having had my parents dragged away from me at age 5, I had been raised by two assassins. By eight I had killed somewhere near twenty people. Men, women, children... babies even. I hated my job, every second was closer to hell than I wished to be. I do not acknowledge my tenth year of life, some messed up things happened that year. Things I never wish to recall and wish I could take back. But I cant. No matter how hard you try, you cannot bring back the dead. 

~Time skip to the next morning~

Standing outside the hotel with my bags underarm, I waited for this man named 'Papa Dino' to arrive. I had a pair of dark jeans on and a (F/c) top, covered by a loose fitting black trench coat that fell just below my knees. The inside of the coat was lined with pockets, varying in size and capacity. One pocket currently held my treasured classic military knife. Another contained a loaded Colt Dragoon revolver, not the most practical for those who don't expect a single shot to finish an opponent however, I prefer closer knife combat. A black leather suitcase in my left hand was filled with multiple poisons, muscle relaxants, tranquilizers... you name it, I probably had it in that case. In one of my two suitcases, there was a tranquilizer gun along with top of the range sniper rifle complete with bullets, as well as various hand guns and knives.

A black car with tinted window pulled up in front of me at 9 o'clock on the dot. One darkened window rolled down slightly, revealing part of a bald head. "Miss (L/n), please get in." A gruff voice commanded from inside. I did as he said, walking around to the other side of the vehicle and slipping inside. "I presume you are Mr. Dino, sir."  I spoke calmly, allowing no emotion to slip through my mask as the car started moving. The bald man chuckled, extending an arm towards me. "You are correct, but please just call me Papa or Papa Dino." The mans free hand patted my knee. I didn't flinch or move, simply allowing the gesture.

"Absolutely Papa Dino, sir. Shall we discus what you intend for my job or do you wish to do that somewhere more private?" I retrieved my hand from the Dinos firm grip, clasping my hands together on my lap and crossing my ankles. Papa Dino chuckled again. Such an unusual and unsettling noise. "You're an eager on aren't you? We will talk about your job when we get to the mansion and you have settled in. We shall talk over some dinner."
"Sounds wonderful, Papa. What time should I meet you?"
"Oh don't worry my girl, I will send someone to escort you. Do wear something formal though." Dino purred somewhat seductively, I chose to ignore his inappropriate tone.
"Yes sir. And thank you, I appreciate your kindness."

Heyyy! At this point in the story, it is going to be based BEFORE episode 3 (when Ash goes to prison.)
Okay, I just thought I should make that clear 😅
