Chapter 44: Bath time

(Y/n) POV

I was rudely awoken by the excited and happy cheers of Ash's gang. "Boss!"
"Your back!" They called, some clapping and making a racket. "Oi! Keep it down." Ash hissed at them, making the shut up instantly. A few of them mumbled questions to him, which he dismissed. 

"Now that you're back, we won't let Arthur have his way." I heard Alex say as the group walked about the flat. "First, food and clothing." Ash said and a few men hurried off to get the things he asked for. "And check up on all our buyers. Tell The Fly to get these for me." 
"Gotcha." Alex said happily, leaving the room with a list. I nestled deeper under the sheets as I heard Ash's footsteps approach.  "Two cell phones and a tablet. Now, give me two hours of sleep." 

There was a thud as Ash fell onto the bed beside me, his head placed against the back of my neck. "Are you alright?" He whispered, warm air making my skin quiver. "Y-yeah." I mumbled sleepily, turning over so I was facing Ash. There was a whistle from somewhere in the room. Ash sat up quickly and glared at everyone. "Two hours. Wake us up in two hours."
"Us?" I asked, slowly sitting up too. "Yep." Ash replied, falling back onto the bed and pulling me down with him. "Oh, okay." 

Sure enough, two hours later I was woken up by Eiji. "Eiji?" I muttered, patting his shoulder to make sure he was definitely there. "Hey, it's time to get up." He replied with a smile, looking over my shoulder at Ash, who was still sleeping. "Um... I'll let you wake him up." He chuckled nervously, walking back to the sofa and sitting down. 

"Ash." I whispered, gently lifting the arm from around my waist. He grunted, pulling me back into him by my hip. "Oi! It's time to get up." I groaned, trying to pull away again. This time, I twisted my body back around to face Ash. "Hey." I mumbled. "I- um... I think I've bled more." My forehead was pressed against Ash's chest. For some reason, I felt incredibly vulnerable and close to tears. To that, Ash's eyes flew open and looked over me sympathetically, rubbing the small of my back with one hand. He sat up slightly, leaning on one elbow. 

"Alright. Everyone, except Eiji, leave and come back in about an hour or so. Get some food or something." Ash ordered. There were a few confused, 'yes boss's, but everyone soon left. Leaving me, Ash and Eiji. I kept my head low, snuggling into the comforting warmth that was Ash Lynx. "Eiji." Ash called, becoming the boy over with his finger. When he approached, Ash sat up fully, leaving my head in his lap.

"Go get some sanitary pads." Ash said calmly yet firmly, passing Eiji ten dollars. "Why-" 
"Don't ask why, just go get them, yeah?" Eiji nodded hesitantly before turning and leaving the rundown apartment, leaving me and Ash completely alone. 

He got up first, stretching out his body with a yawn. "Come on." He smiled softly, extending his hand to me. I took it, placing my palm into his and wrapping my fingers around his larger hand. Sure enough, my legs and the bed sheets were both bloodied. I looked away with embarrassment and shame, once again feeling like I could start crying at any moment. Ash picked up on this and squeezed my hand, using his free hand to lift my chin. "It's okay, we have spare sheets and it's not your fault. Now, let's get you cleaned up." I nodded slowly, following Ash up to the bathroom.

I sat on the toilet seat while Ash filled the bathtub with hot water. Once it was full, he turned to leave but I stopped him by taking his wrist. "U-um... can you stay with me? Please?" He looked shocked, but hesitantly agreed. "Yeah, sure I guess." He murmured, placing himself on the sink as I slowly stood and took off the black hoodie, followed by my underwear. Ash looked considerably uncomfortable, like he didn't know where to look. I felt very exposed, but safe in his company.

I lowered my body into the hot water, sighing with content. I lay on my stomach, my shoulders exposed to the cool air. "Ash?" I called, resting my head on the side of the tub. "Hm?" He hummed looking up, then instantly back down again. "Are you alright?" I asked, genuinely concerned. "Yep." He replied quickly, scratching the back of his neck. "Wanna join me?" I joked, submerging my chin in the water. "Sure." Ash said back, making my head snap upwards. "Really?" I hadn't expected him to agree, but instead of answering, Ash stripped of what was left of his torn clothes. "A-are you sure? I'm still bleeding..." 
"I don't mind, if you don't." I smiled at him, sitting up to make room for Ash. He slipped into the water behind me, pulling me in between his legs.

Even though we were both naked, neither of us were bothered by it. Ash sighed, running his hand through my hair with one hand while I just relaxed. I closed my eyes, playing with the fingers of Ash's free hand. His fingers were rough, but warm and soft at the same time. I hummed, leaning the back of my head against Ash's shoulder. "Feeling better?" He asked, brushing a few strands of hair from my face and placing a kiss on my cheek. "Yeah, a lot better." I replied, returning the favour.

"(Y/n)? Ash?" Eiji called from outside the bathroom door. "Can I come in?" Ash looked at me, I nodded and crossed my arms over my chest. "Yeah, it's unlocked." Ash called back, placing his arms over my chest, on top of my own. When Eiji entered, it took him a moment to process what he was seeing. A blush spread over his cheeks. "O-oh I'm sorry." He stuttered, placing a pack of pads down on the toilet seat, as well as some soap and shampoo closer to the bathtub.. "I-I'll be going... now." Eiji mumbled quietly, shooting me a wink before he left the bathroom. I blushed at his clearly suggestive thoughts. 

"Oh my god..." I sighed, turning to the side in Ash's arms. "What?" He chuckled, running a hand down my side subconsciously. "Well, Eiji clearly thinks we fucked, doesn't he!" I yelled, blushing furiously.

"Oh well, let him believe what he wants." Ash whispered into my ear with a smirk, placing a swift peck on my lips.
