Song: Shit
By: Bo Burnham
(Y/n) POV
The peace didn't last long. About ten minuets after Ash had fallen asleep, the guy with pink hair and a rat tail came into the room. I had learnt his name was Bones, and Ash didn't give him a half a death glare. He quickly moved his head from my lap so he could see Bones better. "What?" He demanded, scowling at the poor guy and visibly scaring him shitless. "S-sorry boss! I walked into the wrong room!" Bones whimpered, scurrying out the room on Ash's nod.
"I'm going to visit this guy called Cain Blood later." Ash sighed, laying back down with his hands behind his head. "Okay." I replied simply, getting up off the bed and wandering over to the pile of clothes I had in the corner, draped over the back of a chair. Picking up a hoodie I may or may of nicked off Ash, I sniffed it to see if it was clean. It was, but something was missing.
"But this on." I smiled sweetly, throwing the dark red hoodie at Ash. He looked at me with confusion, but still removed his denim jacket and pulled on the red jumper. "Thanks!" I grinned, going back over to Ash and laying down next to him. "How long will you be out for later?"
"Not too long... about an hour?" I hummed in response, standing up again. Ash followed, standing up and walking after me to the kitchen.
"We have no food." I sighed, skimming though all the cupboards and the fridge. "Are you hungry?" Ash asked, coming up and leaning against the counter next to me. I nodded, tilting my head to look at Ash. "For the record, I am also hungry." Eiji smiled, popping his head around the door of the kitchen. Ash sighed in defeat, walking into the room with his gang in and asking them to go and buy some food.
Ash POV
When my guys got back from the shop, I left them with (Y/n) and Eiji to unpack while I left to meet Cain Blood. (Y/n) had taken the red hoodie back, smiling and claiming that it smelt of me. I think that's a good thing.
Cain wasn't too hard to find. True, I did know where to look beforehand. He and his gang were in a dark bar. It was smoky and had red LED light, suppose it goes with the whole Cain Blood thing. None of the guys were happy to see me, that's for sure. Every single one of them glare at me as I walked in. Cain was sat on the counter of the bar, watching my every move.
"You're just like the rumours say." He smirked, looking at me through his sunglasses. "Like a pretty peacock in a dump. So, what do you want?"
"I'm going to settle things with Arthur. And I want you to stay out of it." I replied calmly, paying no attention to the quite murmurs behind me. "What's in it for me?" Cain asked, not completely objecting. "That's not all." I continued, acutely aware of the six men who had stepped closer to me as if trying to be intimidating. "I don't want you messing around in the downtown area." The men got even closer, each one balling their fists.
"You came here alone to tell me that? You've got some balls. If I'd teamed up with Arthur, even you couldn't go home alive. You know that." Cain said, not moving from his position. "You wouldn't." I replied curtly with a sigh. "Why's that?" Cain asked, raising an eyebrow. "Because you're the same as me. You'd rather die than be controlled by anyone." He chuckled, leaning forwards slightly. "And if I say no? Downtown is too good to give up."
"Then you've got it coming." I smirked, listening to the angered voices behind me. There was the sound of a gun being cocked, so I drew my own gun and shot in the direction it came from. The bullet went straight through some guys hand, making him drop the firearm with a pained yelp. I hen turned back to Cain, aiming at his forehead.
"Don't move, guys!" He shouted, making the room fall silent. "He's aimed right at my forehead. He can pull the trigger before any of you can rip him apart." I tilted my head slightly, my right index finger hovering over the trigger. "Forgive me. You came to me honourably by coming alone." Cain gulped as a drop of sweat rolled down his cheek. "They won't lay a finger on you. You have my word." I lowered my revolver, slipping it back into my waistband. "I'll be straightforward. I don't give a holy shit about your war. You better not drag me into it. If something happened to any of my men, you'll pay for it big time." Cain warned, and I know better than to not heed a genuine warning.
"I need you to pull out for today. Guys like you make my boys thirsty for blood." He finished, slipping down from the counter. "Sure, thanks for your time." I replied, turning to leave. "Take care of yourself. You're too good to fall to the Mafia." Cain said as I turned the door knob. I looked back over my shoulder as I pushed open the door. "Yeah, I agree." I smirked before leaving, closing the door firmly behind myself.
