Chapter 53: My Little Pony?!

(Y/n) POV

Turns out, I had wandered much farther from the apartment then I thought I had. It took us a good 20-25 minuets to walk back, although it was midday and a weekend, people were everywhere. We got hotdogs from a hotdog cart as we walked past. In my opinion, it had way to much mustard on it. "How the hell do you eat these? All I can taste is mustard!" I complained to Ash, who just rolled his eyes and took the food from my hand and eating it. Eiji looked at me with the same disgust on his face, sneakily putting his in a bin as we passed. "Do you not like them either, big bro?" Ash smirked, looking at an embarrassed Eiji, who just nodded his reply.

When we finally got to the flat, I quickly changed before flopping down on the sofa, switching on the TV as I did so. Flicking through the seemingly endless channels, I eventually settled on some crappy rom-com thing that was clearly aimed at teenage girls, it was painful to watch. Well, it was this or My Little Pony, although I'm sure Twilight Sparkle and fucking Pinkie Pie would be more interesting than this.

"(Y/n)... what are you watching?" Eiji asked, walking in and sitting next to me with a confused look on his face. "My Little Pony." I replied simply "Isn't that for babies?" He continued, biting his bottom lip to try and suppress a laugh. "Yeah, it is. (Y/n), why is this the thing you chose to watch?" Ash answered for me. I let out a huff, sinking deeper into the cushions of the very comfortable sofa. "Because it was this, some antique show, telly shopping, or a shitty rom-com. This was the best choice." 
"Y'know what, I'm not even going to ask." Ash sighed in defeat, leaning over the back of the sofa. He brushed some hair away from my cheek, placing a soft kiss there before turning and leaving. "I'll be in our room. I'm gonna take a nap." Ash called, flicking his hand as a sort of wave as he went.

As soon as Ash shut the bedroom door behind him, Eiji squealed and leapt onto me. "E-Eiji!" I chocked, barely able to breath from how tight he was hugging me. "OH MY GOSH! THAT WAS ADORABLE!" He yelled, violently shaking me with excitement. "Oi! Keep it down." I mumbled, a light blush spreading across my cheeks. When I was finally able to escape Eiji's grip, my smile slowly faded into a frown. "(Y/n)? What's wrong?" Eiji asked gently, his smile also falling. "Hm? Oh nothing, sorry I was just thinking and I zoned out." I smiled at him, although Eiji didn't seem convinced, he didn't push me. "Okay. Just let me know if there's anything I can do."

Ash POV

I napped for about an hour before someone curled up next to me on the bed, that someone being (Y/n). "Well hi." I chuckled, running a hand through her hair. "Hello." She replied, her voice muffled by a pillow. In a moment, she had rolled over and was facing me, a nervous look on her face. "What?" I asked, brushing a few strands of hair from her face. "Where are you going later?" (Y/n) mumbled, placing her hand over my own. I sighed, letting my eyes close for a moment. "You don't need to worry. I'm just going to run some errands, but I don't think I'll be back for dinner, sorry." I leaned forward and placed a kiss on (Y/n)'s forehead. "Just don't do anything reckless. I'd like you back in one piece, thanks." I chuckle as she made me promise to be safe.

"Okay, okay. I won't do anything stupid!"

A little shorter than usual, but oh well.
I was thinking about writing an AshxEiji AU, would any of you be interested in reading that? I would probably set it in university/collage. Lmk if that would be interesting 🤷‍♀️
Of course that doesn't mean I'd stop writing this one, I would probably alternate days.
