Ash's POV

This couldn't be happening. No, not again. I knelt next to (Y/n), cradling her head in my arms as her body went limp. Jessica was on the phone, calling an ambulance. Sing stood in the doorway, a mixture of emotions on his face. Cain was beside me, applying pressure onto (Y/n)'s wound. Eiji just stood there, tears brimming in his eyes as he looked over the situation helplessly. "The ambulance is on it's way." Jessica let out a sigh, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Good. Good. She'll be okay. Please don't leave me, you can't do that to me." I muttered, mostly to myself, pressing kisses over (Y/n)'s forehead and temples, running a shaky hand through her hair.

Minutes later, the blare of sirens filled the street and paramedics came rushing into the building. I clung onto (Y/n), refusing to let her go. Cain had to pull me away so the medics could do their thing. They loaded her onto a stretcher, strapping her down in place and swiftly unbuttoning her shirt and putting something over the gunshot. "What's her name?" One of the asked, looking over at the group of us. "(Y/n) (L/n). She's 17, no medical problems that I know of." I replied, breaking free of Cain's grasp and standing at the side of the stretcher. I stroked her hair gently and I jogged along side. "(Y/n)... (Y/n)! Please open your eyes." I cried to her, suddenly feeling a large hand fall on my shoulder.

"Stand back, you can't go. You should know better." I spun around, coming face to face with Blanca. "Shut up!" I shouted as the ambulance doors closed. I tried to pull away from him, but was held back easily. "Let go of me!" I yelled, helpless as they took (Y/n) away from me. I called her name out over and over until my throat went sore. Jessica stood beside us, a shocked expression on her face. "Don't worry about Ash. Look after him." Blanca smiled at her as I struggled against him. Eventually, he got fed up, and he knew I would refuse to be treated while concious. So, in one swift movement, Blanca hit a spot on my neck just right, making my body go limp and my vision go black.

Blanca's POV

Once Ash was unconcious, I picked him up easily and carried him back inside to the only room with a bed. From there, I bossed Ash's gang about, making them get the things I needed to treat him. I knew he wouldn't stay in this state for long, so I needed to work fast. Removing his shirt, I cleaned the bloodied area around his own wound before placing a dressing on top of it. All of his guys were gathered around as I worked, anxious to see if their boss would be okay. "He should be fine." I told them all, turning me head to face them. Everyone in the room released a sigh, small smiles forming on their faces.

Just then, Ash started to stir. His face screwed up in pain, his eyes slowly opening."(Y/n)?" He mumbled quietly, his hand searching the bed for her. I frowned sadly, watching his actions which would only disapoint him. Once he remembered what happened, his eyes flew open as he sat up. "Don't move." I warned him, placing my hands on his shoulder and applying a little pressure. Ash's face turned to me with the most infuriated glare I had ever seen. "Let me go." He growled, his hand quickly slipping into my blazer pocket and retreiving the gun I had in there. He held it up to my chest as I stood up, taking a step back. "Move over." He ordered, finger hovering dangerously over the trigger. "Ash!" One of the guys behind me called, but no attention was paid to him by his boss. "Stand back." I said calmly, my eyes not leaving Ash's. "Can we have some privacy?" I asked, or more like commanded. The gang members shot us confused looks, but did enventually leave. Resulting in me, alone in a room with Ash, who had a gun aimed directly at my heart.

Ash stood up quickly, wincing a little. "Move or I'll shoot." He warned, but I could see his hand quivering. "What good would it do to go? You're a criminal." I reminded him, staying as calm as possible. "If they question you relation with her, they could make her an accomplice. You knew this would happen some day. Why did you keep her so close? You can't even protect her, but you want to escape your solitude." I could tell my words hurt him, but he already knew all of what I was saying. "Shut up." Ash groaned, his hands tightening into fists. "She doesn't exist for you salvation!" That was it for Ash, he once again told me to shut up, before firing random bullets roughly in my direction.

"You goddamn bastard, damn you, damn you!" He shouted, blood seeping through his dressing as his body swayed uncontrolably. I simply stood there, not moving an inch as he just let it out. I could tell his wound had reopened, the dressing now soaked and blood dripping down, staining his trousers. Ash's breathing was heavy by the time he finally stopped, his eyes getting heavy as his body crashed to the ground at my feet. I sighed, picking him up and placing him back on the bed. I re-dressed his wound, and covered him with a blanket.

I knew he would probably never forgive me, that he'd always have some hatred towards me, but he cared for my sister. He clearly loved her and did his absolute best to protect her, and this one time it didn't go as planned. I knew he'd blame himself. He'd beat himself up over it, convinced that he could have done something. Even when, in reality, there wasn't.
