When a Lynx Meets a Leopard [Ash Lynx x fem reader]

~Chapter 25: Nightmares pt.2~

~(Y/n)'s POV~

Me and Ash jus stayed on the rooftop for a bit. Neither of us said anything, we didn't need too. I soon fell asleep, curled up in Ash's arms. 

"Hey, (Y/n)! A- oh, is she asleep? Sorry!" Max's voice caused me to stir, opening my eyes for a brief second to see Ash glaring in the older man's direction. "Well she isn't anymore." He grumbled, running a hand through my hair now looking back at me. I hummed at him, closing my eyes once more. "C'mon, its time to go." When I didn't move, Ash simply lifted me off the floor bridal style. I didn't resist, but simply nuzzled into his shirt. "Why am I so tired?" I mumble, holding myself as close to Ash as I could. He didn't answer my question, instead I got a soft forehead kiss. Not that I'm complaining.

Ash carried me downstairs and to the van we would be travelling. I pretended to be asleep to avoid teasing from Eiji and Shorter. I did, however, hear some one wolf whistle, making me slightly uncomfortable. Ash must have picked up on my discomfort as there was soon a quiet, 'sorry' mumbled from the same person.

I was lay down on top of half blanket and covered by the other half. Ash brushed a few stray strands of hair from my face before turning around and saying, "Touch her and I'll break your wrist." he warned, getting out of the back of the truck. Eiji lay down next to me, Shorter and Ibe on the other side. "Hey, (Y/n), it just me." He whispered as he rested his head about a foot away from mine. It was sweet how he told me who he was so I wouldn't panic, despite the fact I'm 'asleep'.

As soon as the vehicle started moving I sat up, startling Eiji. I glanced around at the three men. All of them were laying down in a relaxed manor. I then lay down again, my back towards Eiji and closed my eyes. 

"Hey there, my princess~"

"C'mon~ Lets... play~"

"Aww~ Don't look so scared!"

"Y'know I wont hurt you... unless you are naughty~" 

I was laying on my back, wrists tied above my head, my ankles strapped down. My body pulled against the restraints, the leather straps digging deeper into my wrists. I was only... 8? No, 9 years old. Tears spilled from my eyes. I was unable to do anything, surrounded by darkness. Every instinct in my body said run, but I couldn't. Cold, rough hands ran all over me, making my already shaking body quiver. "Aha! Looks like I've tamed the Leopard~" The same horrible voice chuckled, showing his enjoyment in my fear. "No..." I whimpered, fresh tears springing from my eyes. "Please, dont... stop!" I cried out loudly, only to be cut off by more cruel chuckling.  "Please..." I begged, struggling against my binds. 

I yelped in pain as a length of leather broke my skin, making the area around it burn. Blood now seeped from my stomach. I didn't have enough time to cry as with another flick of the leather, my skin was ripped apart again. The shadows repeated this until the strip of leather was coated in blood, my blood. No matter how much I cried out, the pain didn't stop. "(Y/n)~" The never changing voice sung maliciously, bringing the leather down on my already beaten body again. "(Y/n)~" 
"(Y/n)~!"

"Oi, (Y/n)?!" 

Ash's POV

When Eiji told Max to stop the car cause (Y/n) was crying in her sleep, yeah I panicked. Max pulled the truck over and I jumped out the passenger door instantly, running around to the back and yanking apart the fabric doors. (Y/n) was a mess. Her body wouldn't stop twitching, tears streamed down her cheeks and sweat stuck her hair to her face. Eiji, Shorter and Ibe were all sat up, not sure what to do. 

I leapt over them, rushing to (Y/n) and cradling her head in my lap. I rocked her gently, calling out her name. As soon as she woke up, she was likely to try and attack me, but I was prepared for that. "Please, don't... stop! Please..." She cried, jolting violently against my arms. Suddenly, (Y/n) gasped and sat straight up. She didn't hesitate to bring her fist into contact with my face, but I managed to wrap my hand around her fist before it made contact. (Y/n)'s eyes were wide with fear. Her body shook as I slowly pulled her into myself. 

"Ash?" She managed to choke out between tears as I moved back to lean against the side of the truck. "Ibe, you go up front. Tell Max he can move again." The man didn't resist. He just nodded and slipped from the van and got into the passenger seat, and the engine started. (Y/n) clutched my shirt, pulling herself closer and breathing heavily. "Ash?" she cried again, her face buried in my chest. "Yeah, it's me. I'm here, you're okay." I hummed, placing my hands on her back and slowly rubbing it. My chin rested on top of her head, holding her body close between my legs as her face nestled into my chest. 

My eyes glanced over at Shorter and Eiji, who both seemed surprised at how fast she had relaxed in my company. I gently moved so that I was laying on my side, facing away from Eiji and Shorter, (Y/n) between my arms. I didn't sleep like the other two, I just nudged into (Y/n) and nestled my face into her hair.

We stayed like that for a while, me and (Y/n) curled up together in a corner while Shorter and Eiji slept. After about an hour, the truck stopped and the the fabric flaps opened. I heard the girl in my arms groan at the sudden light change. "We're here." Ibe said, dropping the fabric and wandering off somewhere. I sat up, bringing (Y/n) with me. Shorter and Eiji yawned and stumbled out of the truck with curiosity. 

"Do you wanna tell me what that nightmare was about?" I asked as the girl slowly moved away from me. "Uhm..." She muttered, looking away from me in what seemed like embarrassment. "It's okay, you don't have to tell me."
"No... I want to." She took in a long shaky breath before beginning. "It was the first time... my hands and feet were bound... this guy... I don't think his voice will ever leave me." She stared at her crossed legs the entire time. "Thanks for telling me." I smiled, lifting her chin and running a thumb over her bottom lip and leaning in slightly closer. "Can I?" I tilted my head slightly, showing that she could say no. Instead, she nodded her head slowly and lean in herself and kissing me softly. Once again, it was brief but enough.

"C'mon, lets go explore that hellhole outside." I smiled, standing up and helping (Y/n) up. I held her hand as she jumped from the truck and kept it there, not caring about what Shorter would say about it.
