Blanca's POV

At 11:58PM, according to the car clock, Ash emmerged from the hospital building. His hands were in his pockets, but his head hung low. As he opened the car passenger door, I couldn have sworn I heard him sniffle. Not to mention, his eyes were red and his face tear stained. "Are you ready to go?" I asked, not mentioning his current appearence. "More so than I'll ever be." He replied weakly, turning to face the car window. I simply nodded, turning the key in the ignition and driving towards the place Ash mentioned before.

Halfway through the drive, Ash shifted his positioned to face me. I looked sideways at him, keeping my eyes firmly on the quite road. "Thanks." He mumbled, scratching the back of his neck nervously. "For what?"
"For taking me to see her, obviously." I chuckled at his words, a small smile on my face. "No problem. How was she?"
"Alive. Incredibly weak, but alive... and conscious." Ash sighed, leaning back in his seat and closing his eyes for a moment. "Why do you care so much anyways?" He opened one eyes at him, his brows furrowing with thought.

"We're here." I hummed, avoiding the question. "Blanca, answer my question." Ash groaned as I swiftly got out the car, clearly ignoring him. "Sergei!" He shouted, getting aggitated as I blatently refused to answer his question. I sighed heavily, stepping closer to him and bending over slightly to his level. "I care so much, because she's my sister. So naturally, I am rather protective of her. In fact, I visited her room earlier today." I said in a hushed tone, pulling back up to my full hight. Ash looked confused and unsure, but I kept my expression the same, proving ti him I was serious. "L-Look after her then." He mumbled, walking past me but soon turning around, waiting for me to follow.

Ash's POV

I watched carefully as Blanca walked around to the trunk, opening it and removing a yellow bag. He then jogged over to me, smiling a little as we walked. Eventually, we found a small clearing were Blanca set down the bag, and I lay down for a moment. I knew the wound in my side would slow me down a little, but I was trying not to notice it. Blood was seeping through the bandages, and the painkillers I took hadn't started to kick in yet.

"Be still or you'll bleed again." Blanca pointed out the obvious as I sat up, peering at the device in his hand. "There isn't any time." I replied, my eyes glued to the screen. "This is bad. So that's why you were in such a hurry." He sighed, putting the screen back into his bag. "So, what are you going to do?"
"Just wait. We already have a plan in action."

Blanca nodded with a somewhat pleased expression, taking out a sniper rifle, making sure it was fully loaded. He did that to all the weapons inside until the sounds of many gunshots could be heard. "That's out cue." I stood up, making my way towards the area we agreed on earlier as quietly as possible. I got there just in time for the firing to stop. Sneaking up behind Dino, I pulled the handgun I had stashed in my waistband out, pressing it to the back of his head. "Don't move. You're coming with me."

The man turned his disgusting head to look at me, a frown on his face. "I didn't think you were this foolish." He said with what sounded like disapointment. He turned his head back around, and stood on my command, coming face to face with Blanca. "We meet again, sir." He smiled, towering over Dino which was pretty satisfying actually. Seeing a revolting, power-loving man such as Dino be belittled.

"To think I'd see you in this situation. You've sunk quite low, working like an underdog for some punks." Blanca wasn't fased at all, he just kept smiling. "That's what I was to begin with." He shrugged with a level tone, gesturing for us to walk. "Turn around." I spat at Dino, applying pressure with the gun to remind him it was there. "The amount of times I've said that to you. Oh how the tables have turned." He growled lowly, but following my orders without questioning it. Blanca shot me a look as my finger brushed the trigger, pulling it back slightly. He nudged my arm, reminding me of the task at hand. I nodded, forcing Dino forwards as everyone else followed.

Once at the buildings entrance, it was just me and Dino who walked in. Four men in lab coats stood nervously in the lobby room, just looking at us. "Get Mannerheim." I commanded, but they didn't move. "You can talk to me instead." An all too familiar voice from above called out. "So we meet again, young heir. What are your demands?" Foxx was slowly approching, his footsteps as he walked down the stairs the only thing to be heard in the room. "Release all the hostages, now!" I instructed, but the man just smiled. "I see. Here's my answer."

Before I could react, Foxx produced his own gun and shot Dino twice in the chest. My jaw slackened, watching the old man's body fall to the ground with a thud. Metal shutters on all the windows fell down outside, barricading the ways in and out. The sound of many fists hammered against the metal, but they soon stopped after a round of gunshots. I winced, knowing I'd most likely lost some of my guys.

Soldiers surrounded me in an isntant, automatic assult rifles pointed towards me. I was forced down to a kneel, my hands being tied firmly behind my back. "We're even now." Foxx smirked down at me. "You took me by surprise, but it must have been more so for you." The man squatted down before me, glancing over at Dino's still breathing body. "You must hate how things turned out, Monsieur. You've already done your part. He's mine now. The Foundation and that drug, too." Foxx gripped my chin with his thumb and forefinger, lifting my head to meet his eyes. "Come." He purred as I spat in his eyes. Not the best move, as it resulted in me getting hit round the side of the head with a gun, so hard my body fell to the floor. A black boot was the placed harshly on my temple, the wearing pushing down with considerable force as blood streamed from a corner of my mouth.

"You were so smitten by the beautiful monster, you lost it. But not me. I'll tame and control him." Foxx said with arrogance. "Do you realise who you're facing? You overestimate your capacity. You poor Faust." Dino replied, his voice raspy and slow.

"Monsieur!" A worried voice cried suddenly as footsteps ran into the room. "Monsieur is retiring. Ash Lynx will be the next president, and I shall back him up." Foxx explained his plan, not caring about any resistance he would undoubtedly face. "I guarantee you the exact same position." When he finished talking, two men came and stood me up. They slung my arms over their shoulders and helped me walk. "Put him to sleep, just in case. Time for you to finally get some rest, Monsieur."

"Sir." The two men taking me away said in unison, and I followed, not currently having the strength to fight back.

I'm thinking about writing a sequal for this... just depends on how I decide to end it.
