Song: Spirits
By: The Strumbellas
(Pretty sure I've already used this but oh well)
Blanca POV (Ooh~ This is new I think)
"We still have two more scorpians." Yut Lung smirked from where he was sat, picking up a glass of chilled red wine and taking a sip. "Unlike Lao, they know what's best for them. They'll do anything." While he talked I remained silent, somewhat lost in my own thoughts. I wondered about how (Y/n) was doing. Was she safe? Happy? But most importantly, was she still with Ash?
"You seem disturbed, Blanca." Yut Lung interupted my thoughts. I looked at him from where I was stood, swirling my own wine a little in it's glass. "I'm just curious. Why you despise (Y/n) (L/n) so much." I hummed, finally taking a small sip of the sweet red wine. "You think she's Ash's weak point too, don't you?" Yut Lung tilted his head, staring in my direction as he waited for his answer. I sighed, thinking for a moment. "I used to."
"You don't now?"
"I'm not sure anymore."
It was the truth. I really could not tell if (Y/n), my little sister, was a weakness or strength to the man I was suposedly trying to help hunt for.
"It's best for Ash to return to the monsieur. I want to see Ash reign as the great demon. A real heartless monster. It's my aspiration in life to fight tooth and nail with such a monster. I can't have him playing friendship like a fool." Yut Lung scowled, his brow knitting together as he gazed intensely at his wine glass. "She's an encumbrance!" A soft smile grew on my face as I listened to the seemingly clueless man before me. Ash was not simply friends with (Y/n). He loved her more than anything, and I dare say she feels the same way back.
"I'm a monster too, Blance." He sighed, getting up from where he sat and walking over to the door. "Goodnight." And with that, the door closed and Yut Lung left.
The next morning, my temporary Master had some visitors. The two men who came were the ones hired to take my sister out of the picture, although, they were not having an easy time of it.
"I'm not hearing any good news." Yut Lung said flatly, moving a piece on the board game before him. "A-Ash is always by that girls side. We can't get close!" One of the boys stuttered nervously, shying under the younger boys harsh gaze. "You're wrong. Ash becomes all tame when he's around her. He's degraded from a lone lynx, to a content pet cat. Get her when they're alone together. You might even be able to get Ash, too." Yut Lung's smirk grew as the last words came out of his mouth, relishing in the thought of ridding both (Y/n) and Ash in one fell swoop.
After that, the two boys left speechless. I could tell they didn't truely believe that Ash went all soft around (Y/n). They saw him as a hardened killing machine, that knows no true emotion. But all that was untrue, especially for (Y/n).
"You understand Ash's weak point very well." I commented after the door had closed, my face unchanging. "We go back a long way." Yut Lung leered, clearly pleased with himself in an almost childish way. "But those two can't kill Ash." I wanted to add they couldn't kill (Y/n) either, but decided it was best not to. "But they might be able to kill (Y/n). They just might." I bit my tounge and didn't respond. There was no way Yut Lung could know anything about (Y/n), and neithe did I f we were being honest. But I had met the man who trained her, and he was a force to be reckoned with. So I could only assume she was too. However, even though I didn't know much about her now, she was still my little sister and I'd hate to see her get hurt.
(Y/n) POV
I was sat on a wooden table, a full jug of coffee and a mug next to me. A small, beaten up radio sat in the corner of the room, playing soft music. Ash was with me, stood up, hands on his hips. "You go with Jessica and Eiji to have News Week shelter you. I won't take no for an answer." He said seriously as I poured myself some coffee, taking a sip of it and sliding off the table. "I know. I'll go with Jessica." I sighed, walking over to him with my warm drink clasped between my hands. Ash's jaw hung slack in disbelief at me just agreeing to go. "I think that's best, too. Although, that doesn't mean I want to go."
I stared down into my mug, swirling the liquid inside around a little as Ash strode over with his arms crossed. He peered into the mug, his face in a pout. "Why are you so suspicious? I made it, it hasn't got anything in it. I promise." I chuckled, taking another sip of the bitter drink. "Oh yeah? So you wouldn't mind if I just, took it then?" Ash grinned cheekily, snatching my drink away and downing the whole mug in one go. "Ash! You'll burn yourself, be careful!" I scolded him, taking the mug with a grumble and placing it back on the table. Just then, the radio started playing a song I instantly recognised.

Song: Merry Go Round Pg Life
From: Howl's Moving Castle
(You can change the song, but this is one of my personal favourites!))
"Ash! Dance with me." I beamed, spinning around and taking Ash's hand before he could protest. "What? I- okay then." He mumbled, gingerly wrapping his arms around my waist as I did his neck. After a few minutes, of swaying gently in time with the music, the speed picked up. "Follow my lead." Ash whispered softly in my ear, pulling away from me so I could see what his feet were doing. "One, two, three. One, two, three. That's it!" He smiled, steping quicker with the music in the background.
I laughed as he just kept moving faster, the song picking up speed. I must have stepped on his toes at least 3 times before it gradually slowed. On the last beat, Ash took my hand and spun me around with a chuckle, pulling me back into his chest as it ended. We were both laughing messes, breathing heavily. I wrapped my arms around Ash's torso, burrying my face in his neck. He embraced me back, nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck. "Aslan, come with me and Eiji to Japan." I panted, my hand reaching up to play with his hair. "You won't need to ever hold a gun there." Ash sighed, squeezing me tight for a moment. "I'll only cause trouble for you two. It wouldn't be fair on either of you, or Eiji's family. I've killed too many people." I released the strand of hair I had, before quickly taking another piece. "You think I care? I understand why you killed them, Eiji does too. You had no choice. We could be free, Ash. I'm not leaving you. I can't lose you, Aslan. I can't even bear the thought of it."
I gripped tighter onto him, pulling myself closer. "I'd do anything for you." I felt Ash stiffen at that, but he quickly relaxed again. "I don't want you to fight anymore. I don't want you to be in danger." I felt Ash smile softly against my skin. "Thanks. I've always wished I could live a normal life. You and Eiji will have to teach me Japanese then." I chuckled, pulling away slightly. "I need to learn it too, actually." I admitted sheepishly, heat rising in my cheeks a little. "Well, we can learn together then. Learn a new language, and how to live a peaceful life. Together."
"Together." I smiled as Ash leant his forehead against mine, a content smile also gracing his face.
The moment was cut short as I heard two pairs of footsteps approching. I instantly tensed up, Ash picking up on my sudden mood change. But by the time he noticed, it was too late. Two guys had appeared, both with guns pointed at Ash's back. "Watch out!" I shouted, spinning us around so I was facing the door, Ash behind me. I gasped softly as a bullet hit me directly, causing my head to spin almost immediately. I was unable to keep my balance, soon crashing to the floor. I heard Ash yelling out my name, as well as more shots and someone else falling to the floor.
The ground vibrated as several more footsteps came closer, presumably from hearing Ash's shouts and the gunshots. Everything was blurry, the edges of my vision caving in. I could faintly hear Jessica and Cain, but it sounded like I was underwater. My eyelids were drifting close, my breathing fast and laboured. I was trying my best to stay awake, as that was what I could hear Jessica begging of me.
Soon there was hot breath on my face. It felt like my whole body was made of lead, but I forced my eyes open to see a very blurry Ash.
"A-Ash..." I mumbled, useing all the strength I had left to speak and lift my hand to his cheek. "You're safe.... I'm glad..." And with that, my eyes shut and hand fell down. All I could do was lie there as Ash's anguished cries slowly died out, and I fell asleep.
