Ash's POV

I can't say that being sat in a chair, half naked in front of a bunch of old men with little sticky pads all over my body, monitering pretty much everything, is the most comfortable thing ever. But here I am. In that exact situation.

"How are you feeling?" A voice crackled through a speaker. "What do you think?" I replied with a sigh, glancing between the men that were hiding behind soundproof glass. "Bear with me for a bit." The same voice said as a screen was moved infront of me. "We're just doing some simple tests." I clicked my tounge and looked at the screen, waiting for it to turn on. "Beginning the B-AS test, level 1." The once black screen suddenly flickered into life, showing a some different shape nets with numbers next to them. "1st question. Choose the net of the polyhedron shown."

I clicked my tounge again and rolled my eyes, looking to the floor breifly. "It's A." I groaned. "Good. 2nd question..." I was getting fed up of all these questions, but still answered them correctly.

I knew they were probably going to kill me, so I might as well take a fun pop quiz first, right?

In total, there were ten levels. Once I had cleared them all, the pads were removed and I was given a shirt to put on. I could see them talking behind the glass, but couldn't hear what they were saying nor could I be bothered to lip read. Instead, I just stared at the floor and waited to be let out. And after a while, I was. Handcuffed and with two body guards, of course. A third man in a lab coat and a tie, lead in front.

"What is it you want to show me?" I asked, looking around the corridor we walked down. "You'll see in a minuet." The guy in front answered, not giving me a solid response. 'Security cameras and no windows...' I though to myself, looking at the ceiling and the square lights. I then looked down and purposely caught one foot on the other, making me fall forwards. "Are you okay?" On of the guys who were stood behind me asked, kneeling down beside me. "I felt dizzy." I replied, getting back to my feet.

'Soundproof floors. But what for?' I thought as we walked a little farther. 'Sound? Come to think of it, Griffin was really delicate to sound, too. But it can't be...'

My chain of thought was cut off my a large man appearing in front of us, or shoul I say what was a man. What was left, is just a shell. "Dr. Mannerheim. Hello. How are you?" He said robotically, no emotion or expression on his face. "Hi Adam. Glad to see you're doing well. Let me introduce you. This is Ash." Mannerheim said, gesturing to me behind him. The big guy turned his gaze to look at me. His eyes were almost dead, it was an awful sight. "Hello Ash. How are you?" Adam asked me. I just looked at him in shock, taking a few seconds to come up with an answer. "Uh, great." Once I had replied, Adam then walked away without another word. I watched him go, wondering what the hell happened.

"He raped and killed three nuns. A ruthless criminal. Doesn't look it, eh?" Dr. Mannerheim said suddenly, a few steps ahead of where he was last. "It's all thanks to the treatment he received here. Come this way."

'I'd rather have seen the rapist murderer than that walking talking corpse.'

(Y/n) POV

Somehow, I ended up walking around the streets of god-knows-where. I had absolustly no idea where I was, but oh well. What I did know, what that I had been walking for a while and was exhausted. I hadn't slep properly, nor had I eaten since the halloween party Eiji decided to throw last minute. I leant my head against a lamp post, taking a deep breath in to calm my spinning head. The cool metal helped a little, that was until two guys decided to approch me.

"You okay? You look sick." One of them said. I turned to look at them. The guy who had just spoke had dreadlocks and sunglasses, the other a mid-length afro and a hunter green coat. The both of them were a whole head and shoulders taller that me, giving them a hight advantage. "Want us to take you home?" The second guy asked nicely, but I could tell that he had other intentions. "No thank you, I'm fine." I replied politely with a small smile, pulling away from the lamp post. But when I tried to walk away, a heavy hand landed on my shoulder.

"Aww, come on." The guy in the trench coat hummed, pulling me back into him. A large hand covered my mouth from behind, while another slipped around my waist, feeling  under my shirt a little. Both my wrists were hel by the guy with dreadlocks, and I was simply too weak to fight back.

Suddenly, something wizzed passed, hitting the dreadlocks guy in the side of the head, making him bleed. I was instantly released by both men, but I couldn't look at my saviour as my vision had started to blur. "What the hell?" Afro guy yelled. "Kidnap is going to cost you." I heard a familier voice shout in response, I glanced in the direction it came from. "Who the hell are you?"
"Sing?" I mumbled, feeling my legs starting to give in beneath me. "Wait, he's Sing. The Chinese's boss." The guy with the afro yelped, encouraging his mate to run. "Assholes." Sing sighed with a click of his tounge. If he had anything else to say, I didn't hear it.

As I had already collapsed onto the floor, landing with a thud.
