(Y/n) POV

When we got back to the appartment, I found Eiji watching TV and Ash left after changing quickly. I sighed, not nowing where he was going, but being told to meet him at 3 O'Clock. I settled down next to Eiji, settleing down to what he was watching. Turns out, it was a romance, and a sad one at that. I ended up having to comfort a sobbing Eiji when the main character died of chronic illness, leaving their lover behind. "It's so sad.." He weeped while I hugged him, letting him cry his eyes out onto my shoulder. "But, Eiji, it's not real." I soothed him, or tried to. "But (Y/n)! What if you or Ash were to fall ill and die? How tragic would that be?" He cired, a new round of tears falling from his eyes. I sighed, rubbing his back. "That's not gonna happen."
"Yeah... I guess you're right..." Eiji sniffed slowly, his tear finally coming to a stop.

"It's nearly 3, should we get some donuts before I have to meet Ash?" I asked him, slowly standing up as Eiji oulled away from me and wiped his eyes on his sleeves. A small smiled formed on his lips as he too, stood up. I threw him his jacket, pulling him on and walking out the door, locking it behind us.

When we got to the donut shop, I picked myself one out, as well as one for Ash. Somewhere along the way, we had met Bones and Kong, inviting the along with us. Which they happily agreed to. Eiji had insisted on paying, so while he did that, I looked around the shop. I soon noticed a blonde boy running past the window. I tapped Eiji's shoulder, letting him know I was going outside to see Ash. He nodded as I walked outside. "Hey, Ash." I called, waving my hand at him while walking closer. "What?" He said quickly, swiftly turning around to see me. "I though I told you not to wander around by yourself." Ash snapped, shouting at me while glancing around constantly. "What? Why are you so irritated? Besides, I'm not alone." I replied calmly, gestureing bac to Eiji, Bones and Kong who were walking over to us, bag of donuts in hand. "We came out for donuts, and you said to meet you at 3. It's 2:57 now." I sighed, burrying my hands in my dark red hoodie.

"Oh yeah, I forgot." Ash mumbled as I rolled my eyes, turning around to walk over to Eiji. When Ash didn't follow me, I spun back around to face him again. "What's wrong, Ash? Not feeling good?" I asked, leaning closer to him and peering at his eyes while he stared at the ground. "It's nothing. Let's go. Sorry for yelling at you." He sighed, not meeting my gaze as he slung and arm around my shoulder in a protective way. I could tell he was lying, but didn't say anything about it.

"I picked you out a donut." I smiled, taking my hands out my pocket and wrapping them around Ash's waist. "Ooh~ that sounds good." Ash hummed, smiling softly back at me as we made out way back to the appartment.

Once we were there, we all ate our donuts the Ash disapeared to have a shower. While he did that, I sat on the sofa next to Eiji and scrolled through new updates on a phone Ash had given me to use. When I found something interresting, I got up and walked to the room me and Ash shared to show him. I had heard the water stop, and a hair dryer turn on. I knocked softly before entering, reading through the news artical. "This news..." I started, looking up to see Ash stood in the middle of the room drying his hair in just a button up and boxers. An undone red tie hung loosly around his neck, and he stood on top of two other button up shirts. "What are you doing?" I asked in surprise, raising an eye brow before shutting the bedroom door behind me.

"Do I look 15?" Ash asked, twirling a stand of his golden hair around his index finger. "What? Yeah, why? Are you trying to get in somewhere as a minor?" I replied, shoving the phone in my pocket and walking closer. "Prostituting." Ash replied casually, looking at himself in a mirror. "What?!" I spat, looking at him as if he'd gone crazy. He just chuckled at my response. "What about the news?" He asked, ruffling his hair one last time. "Oh, yeah. What do you think?" I handed him the phone, a news artical about the death of a Lee family member. While he read that, I stepped closer and started to do up his tie. "About what?" He asked when I had finished sorting his tie out. "I didn't tell you this but..." I tapped my fingers nervously against Ash's now covered collarbone. "But?" He prompted, bending over to pick up a pair of trousers and pulling them on, tucking his shirt in neatly. "But, Yut Lung told me before... he said he's going to be your enemy." I chose not to add in the bit about me, it could wait for now. "Why didn't you tell me this before?" Ash asked, looking down at me with an unreadable expression.

"Well, because... well I don't know, but he was full of malice. I don't know why, but I feel like he's going to be trouble." I breathed nervously, looking to the floor as I waited for Ash's response. "Don't worry. If he comes for me, that's it." He reassured me, not a hint of anger in his voice. I sighed a sigh of relief. I looked up to see Ash in a blazer, walking towards the door. "Where are you going?" I asked, hoping that he would stay a little longer. "I told you. I'm going prostituting." He winked over his shoulder, presenting a pair of glasses from his pocket. "Don't go outside alone." He smiled and waved before disapearing out the door. I sighed as I watched him leave, wondering what the hell he was thinking.

I wandered back out to the living room, a small pit on my face as I sat down next to Eiji, resting my head on his shoulder. "(Y/n)? What's wrong?" He asked, wrapping and arm around my shoulders and giving them a squeeze. "Ash just left... again." I complained, turning on the TV and flicking through the channels. Bones and Kong were still here, and were happily chatting between themselves. I managed to unknowingly choose a sad romance film I had never heard of, not nowing what was to come of that.

By the end of the film, all three guys were crying messes. Bones and Kog hung to eachother, while Eiji hung to me. I sighed, rubbing his shoulders gently while desperatly trying to find something funny to watch. I landed on F.R.I.E.N.D.S, which I had personally never watched but it seemed like a comedy. I was right, it was pretty funny. The four of us watched that for a bit, argueing over who the best character was. After a while, I started to feel tired and turned in for the night. Eiji waved me off, calling a good night as I went. Bones and Kong also said goodnight, and I waved before closeing the bedroom door.

Eiji's POV

After (Y/n) had gone to bed, I wasn't far after. My room was right next to hers and Ash's, so I moved as quietly as I could to avoid waking her. I had a shower before changing and slipping under the covers, enjoying the warm feeling and the smell of clean sheets. However, soon after I turned my light off, I heard soft whimpering coming from the other room. My bed was pressed right up againt the opposite wall, but (Y/n)'s was right next to my room on the other side. The crying slowly grew louder when there was suddenly a loud thump as something it the wall, hard.

I hastily turned my light on and rushed into (Y/n) and Ash's room. (Y/n) was rocking in her bed, still asleep but still looking utterly terrified. She was crying out Ash's name, using his full name 'Aslan'. I ran over to her, sitting on the bed and gently trying to wake her. When she finally did come around, she instantly reached into her bedside draw and pulled out a revolver, holding it up to my head.  I calmly moved it away from my face, smiling gently as (Y/n) realised it was me. "Ash?! ...Eiji.... I'm sorry..." She cried, tears streaming down her face as she burried her head in her hands. The way she looked when she was asleep, was the same as when we had been travelling to Ash's hometown. Her reaction when she woke up was the same, too.

I slowly crawled closer to her, wrapping my arms around her shoulders and rocking her gently. She was shaking, her whole body trembling as I hugged her. "Shhh it's okay now. You're safe, it's okay." I soothed, rocking her non-stop. "Thanks Eiji." She sniffed when her sobbing had calmed down a little.

I stayed with her like that until she fell asleep, holding her close and rocking from side to side. I decided to stay with her until Ash came back, just in case she woke up again and needed me. It was close to midnight, a single ray of moonlight shone through a small gap in the curtains. I didn't now when Ash would be back, and dare I say it, if he would be back. But I hoped, especially for (Y/n)'s sake, that he would return soon.

It wasn't until the early hours of the morning that he did come back. I heard the key turn in the front door's lock, followed by soft pads of feet across the wooden floorboards. Ash came into the room me and (Y/n) were in. I was gently stroking her hair while her head rested on my lap, whispering nothing in particular to her. "Eiji?" Ash asked tiredly, squinting in the low light. "I hummed back, looking up from (Y/n) to meet his eyes. "What's wrong? Is (Y/n) okay?" He questioned further, panicking slightly as he rushed over and felt (Y/n)'s neck, checking for a pulse. He did a once over with his eyes, checking for injury, and finding none but slight grazing on her knee. He sighed in relief, looking back at me with confusion. I sighed heavily, feeling my own eyelids starting to drift together. "She had a nightmare, Ash." I mumbled ,rubbing my eyes and stroking (Y/n)'s hair.

I saw Ash's face fall, mentally kicking himself for not being there when it happened.
