Song: Hurt

(Y/n)'s POV

We sat like that for a short while, basking in the morning sun. It was nice and I was comfortbale, until Ash suddenly jerked beneath me. I looked up with annoyence, to see him looking in the opposite direction. That's when I heard it, soft grunts of pain with uneven footsteps. I quickly gotoff Ash's lap and made my way over to the wall. Sure enough, Sing was below us, grunting as he struggled his way closer. "Sing..." I muttered, turning on my heel and running back inside, grabbing Ash's hand as I did.

"(Y/n)? Who was it?" Ash asked curiously, a hint of worry in his voice as we ran. "Sing. He's injured." I replied quickly, my mind racing with countless possibilities. A couple of Ash's guys saw us run past, and followed with some calling a confused, 'Boss?'. As soon as we got outside,I let go of Ash and rushed over to Sing, kneeling down next to him. He wasn't particulary bloody, but he was wheezing and his face was contorted in pain. I gently placed my hand on his cheek, rubbing it with my thumb. "You're okay, yeah?" I told him, slowly getting him back to his feet. Or trying too. The young boy just fell straight back down, hitting the floor with a thud. Ash had joined us by now,  Alex, Kong and Bones close behind. "He can't walk." I said as Kong knelt down next to me, Sings head resting on my shoulder heavily. "And now he's unconcious." I sighed, my hand going to his forehead to check his tempurature. "Kong, can you pick him up? I would ask Ash, but frankly I don't wanna have to wrap him in anymore bandages." I asked Kong, smiling sweetly at Ash over my shoulder while he pouted back at me.

In seconds, Sing was off the floor and in Kongs secure arms. As he walked inside, I followed closely, watching Sing with worry. Ash gazed at me as I did so, coming closer and taking my hand softly. He squeezed, finally getting my attention as I stopped. "He'll be okay." He smiled, rubbing my hand with his thumb. I sighed heavily, making myself calm down. "I know, but Ash-"
"He'll be okay." He repeated, taking my other hand and pulling me into him, his hands finding a place on my sides. "He's just a kid, Ash. Sing is fourteen. Fucking fourteen years old." I said angrily, turning my head and listening to Ash's calm heartbeat. "I know... I know." Ash sighed, rocking me gently to try and put me at ease. "I feel bad for him. He's so young and he already is under so much stress." I mumbled, calming down a little. "I just want to protect him if I can. Sing is probably worried sick about his guys, he cares about them a lot. I can tell he does." I added, pulling awayfrom Ash but keeping a hold of his hand and making my way back to the room we slept in.

When we got there, everyone was gathered around Sing, who was laying unconcious on a sofa. I went and got a spare pillow I had tossed aside late night, as well as a blanket. Placing the pillow under Sing's head, I gently removed his coat and top. I removed his coat for comfort, and his T-Shirt because it was soaked with sweat. I then pulled the blanket over him, once again checking his temperature. His eyes slowly flickered open while my hand was on his forehead, his eyes widening even more. Sing suddenly sat upright, one hand clutching his balnket. "Where are my guys? Where are they?" He shouted, ignoreing me completely as I asked him tolay back down. "They were taken somewhere else. We were loaded int differnet vans." Alex replied, looking at his feet as Sing quickly got off the sofa and pulled on his shoes. "Oh man. I'm going back to Chinatown. I have to go, or they'll be killed. Yut Lung is keeping them as hostages to lure me out." He panicked at the thought of his guys being hurt because of him. "Sing, sit back down." I told him firmly, applying pressure on both his shoulders. When he resisted, I simply put more pressure on him until he eventaully sat down. I kept my hands on his shoulder as he looked at me, confusion and worry eched on his face. I sighed, bowing my head and completely releasing Sing's shoulders. He took the chance to get up again, rushing out of my reach before I had time to react.

Luckily for me, Ash was there to stop him. "Calm down, Sing." He said quietly, but loud enough for everyone to hear. "He'll kill you all anyway if you go back now." Sing's fists were balled tightly as Ash spoke, looking up at the taller man. "You say that because they're not your guys. And you...!" Sing retaliated, glareing up at Ash. "I said, calm down." Ash cut him off, returning the glare with a neutral expression. Sing's shoulders dropped and so did his gaze, feeling intimidated by Ash. "I'll help you. But you need to rest for now." Ash smiled softly at him, gesturing towards the sofa I was stood beside. "You've saved me so many times. (Y/n)'ll look after you. She's good at it." He added, smiling softly at me as Sing turned to make his way bac to the sofa. "Yeah, only cause I'm constantly bandaging you back together." I muttered under my breath, shooting him a glance. He chuckled a little, resting his hand on Sing's shoulder before slipping past him. But before Ash could get far, Sing had grabbed the hem of his shirt.

"Ash, you've got to save them. Save my guys." He pleaded, clinging onto Ash's shirt while looking up at him. "I dragged them into this. They all trusted me." He cried, finally letting go of the fabric and looking away from Ash. "I know. Don't worry." Ash said calmly, walking out the room to do something I was unaware of. "Sing, come lay down." I called softly, watching as the boy shuffled over and lay bac down on the sofa. He turned his back to me and I covered him over with a blanket. He grunted softly, snuggleing under the warm cover. When he fell asleep, I left Bones to watch over him while I went to find Ash.

Ash's POV

Me and Cain at around a table in what was once a pretty nice kitchen talking, when (Y/n) came in. "Whatcha talking 'bout?" She hummed, walking up behind my chair, holding onto the back of it. "Not much. Cain was just saying that we're in a sticky situation." I replied and she nodded, leaning down and resting her head on my shoulder. "Lee Yut Lung, was it?"
"He's a devil behind a pretty face." (Y/n) muttered, earning sighs of agreement from me and Cain. "A little like you two." Cain smirked back. I replied back with a smirk and a scoff, rolling my eyes. "What? Me? A devil? Whatever do you mean? I'm, I'll have you know, am a perfect angel! I've never done wrong in my life." (Y/n) gasped in faux shock, falling to her knees dramatically. Me and Cain laughed with her, but she soon returned to being serious. "No, but really. He is a problem." I nodded in agreement as her head returned to my shoulder.

"I should've killed him then. And shouldn't you be looking after Sing?" I ased (Y/n), looking at her with a soft smile. "He's asleep. Went out as soon as his head hit the pillow. Just as she finished, Alex came around the corner suddenly. "We found out where they're locked up." He announced, skidding to a halt. Me and Cain shared a glance as we both stood up, turning around to follow Alex to where the others were. "Ash?" (Y/n) called after me. I stopped, telling Cain to go on and that I'd be there in a moment. "Hm?"
"You're not gonna let me come, are you?" She asked, looking from her feet up to my eyes. I sighed, walking closer and taking her chin between my finger and thumb, tiliting her head upwards. "I just don't want you to get hurt." I frowned, cupping her cheeks when she looked away. "What's wrong?" No response. "(Y/n)? Hey, talk to me?"

"If you're going to go do something dangerous without me, you better come beck in one piece. You here me, Aslan? One fucking piece. I don't want to see a single gun shot wound, or even a scratch on your skin. Got it?" She grumbled angrily, covering her concern and fear perfectly. Well, almost perfectly. "Yes Ma'am. I'll be back before you know, not a scratch." I replied, holding my hand to my head in a salute, feet snapping together. She chuckled, reaching up and ruffleing my hair. "You're such and idiot."  (Y/n) groaned, walking past and grabbing my hand as she went.

We walked into the room where everyone was discussing a plan, hand in hand.
