CHapter 36

Continued from last chapter.

Yoko POV:

Judging by my friends' pained expressions, they wanted to move but couldn't. That Villain injured Best Jeanist in one blast. What else was he capable of?

Splash.

"UGH! What the hell is this?" a familier voice grumbled. "Smells like shit!"

Kacchan/Bakugou!

"I'm sorry," the man said, "Bakugou."

"Eeehhh?" Bakugou growled.

More splashes. I could only guess that the LoV had also appeared.

"You've failed me again, huh Tomura?" the man said. "But you absolutely cannot get discouraged. All you need is to try again. I brought all your comrades for you." he gestured to the other members of the LOV. "And this boy, too...because you deemed him to be a 'important piece'. Try as many times as you'd like. That's why I'm here. Everything is for your sake."

Sweat trickled down my face. I breathed heavily. The hell was this man?

Chisako was the first one to recover. She twitched. Her shoe moved, but before she could do anything stupid, Iida reached over and held her back. His expression read, Don't do it. And to my surprise, Chisako listened. I reached over and clasped my hand over Shoto's in fear.

".........." the man looked up. "Looks like he's coming."

Whoosh!

"I'm going to make you give back everything," All Might said as he grappled with the villain, "ALL FOR ONE!"

"All For One?" Chisako whispered.

I heard All Might push down AFO, but suddenly, more fierce wind made my hair sweep over my face.

"Even All Might!" Deku said.

Shrapnel and dust shot upward and AFO blasted....wait.

He blasted All Might away?

With another big crash, All Might flew back and brought his fist back toward AFO. 

"Take the boy." AFO ordered to the LoV.

I squeezed my eyes shut. What kind of villain is strong enough to defeat the Symbol of Peace?

We are...

NOT ALLOWED TO FIGHT.

Suddenly, Deku's eyes widened. "Iida!" he exlclaimed. "Everyone! I have an idea!"

"Tell us!"

Deku stared at his hand. "This plan....if I do it, it'll fail." he pointed at Chisako. "Its gotta be you!"

"Me?" Chisako looked so surprised that she didn't even seem angry for once.

BOOM! We can hear Bakugou engaging combat with the villains.

"THREE! TWO! ONE! GO!" Iida and Deku grasped Kirishima and CHisako in their arms and sped toward the wall at full speed. Kirishima punched through it, and Shoto quickly made a huge ice ramp.

"Listen." Deku said. "We'll start by pushing ourselves forward with Iida's Recipro Burst and my Full Cowl. IN that instant, Todoroki-kun can make us a ice ramp! And then, with Chisako in the middle, we'll break through the wall with Kirishima's hardening. We'll reach a height where even the villains can't catch us! However, we gotta be careful. We'll have Kirishima's hardening to protect us, but Yao-Momo can make some objects that Yoko-chan can animate to fly around us, giving us a shield. And then we'll blast through the battlefield!"

"Yao-Momo!" I opened my head, and Momo dropped three large pieces of metal into it. I quickly commanded them to grow in size and fly around my flying friends.

"And then its all up to Chisako. It can't be me, or Iida or Todoroki or Yoko or Yaoyorozu....not even Kirishima. Ever since school started, you and Kacchan have built up a relationship."

"OI, KACCHAN!" CHisako yelled, thrusting out her hand. "COME ON, YOU ANNOYINGLY HOT JERK!"

I facepalmed at Chisako's choice of words.

BUt Bakugou obliged. He blasted away the villains around him, skidded across the roof, then grasped Chisako's hand. "You idiots..."

I grinned. "They did i--AGH!" I yelped as a huge pang of pain erupted in the back of my head.

"Yoko!" Momo caught me as I stumbled.

I winced as the pain grew larger.

"Yoko." Shoto said, gripping my shoulders. "Be honest with me. Was your head injury fully healed before you left the hospital?"

"Um." I couldn't think straight through the growing pain. "No....?"

"Oh shit." Shotos said.

The pieces of metal I was manipulating dropped out of the sky as I felt my energy fade away. The villains took advantage of this, and they quickly shot Mr. Compress toward my friends.

"no!" Momo said, but before we could do anything, Mt. Lady appeared and blocked the villain with her face.

"The rescue...is out top priority!" Mt. Lady said. She staggered sideways. "Go...you dumb kids!"

"Oh thank goodness." I said, then collapsed. Also, I'm pretty sure I was having one of my breakdowns.

"Whoa. You are not having a breakdown in the middle of a rescue mission." Shoto said firmly as he lifted me up in a fireman's carry. "Think. Distract. Er...Natsu. Think about Natsu!"

As the dark thoughts crowded around my mind, I tried to desperately distract myself.

Natsu Natsu Natsu Natsu Natsu Natsu.............

Not working.

A loud boom shook me out of my thoughts.

"They have Bakugou! Lets go!" Shoto said, and we got outta there.
